  1. Happy Birthday KyleðŸ‘, what's this I read about an M6? Haven't been on the forum for a while😟. Had been looking at 6 series BMW last year prob 635D still keeping an eye out. Will be keeping the Z though.
  2. Had to decide on a new name for my Xbox gamer tag as my original included my year of birth, was getting dogs abuse from spotty teenagers about being an old git and worse, so happened to be watching Top Gear at the time as Clarkson finished up the show with his catchphrase. 4. So, happy enough on the outcome as to be honest other than new tyres on all four corners I did absolutely nothing to get her ready for MOT. Corroded brake lines on all four corners, would like some advice on replacing the lines ie, with what?and where to purchase, also is it a DIY job? Cheers.
  5. Definitely sounds like dust shield, had the same problem you describe, as said by others take the wheel off and gently pry the dust shield back, I used the bar that you use to wind the jack. Problem solved. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2

  8. You're not wrong, 7.2 sec 0-60. A fair bit slower than our Z's.

  11. I realise the Merc would be down on power compared to the Z, I was thinking more on the lines of it being a big luxury cruiser. It is only a notion I have, Still love my 350. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
  12. Hi, Went to look at a 370z for sale local to me, but unfortunately it has been sold, salesman then shows me a Merc SL350, it's a 2004 with 70,000 on the clock and has the panoramic roof. Looks a beast of a motor, never thought of them before as a buying option, but it's given me something to think about. Anyway, anyone have any experience of owning one of these or has any knowledge about them? Thanks.
  13. I'm really pleased I looked in on this thread, as mentioned earlier in thread I'm now with Admiral for the grand total of £195 fully comp. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
  14. Hope the year ahead is incident free and you're back in the Z soon. Good luck.
  15. If you would like to have a chat about my car, or anything else I can help you with.. what spec you want, what to buy.. what not to buy etc. Feel free to ask questions even if it is regarding another cayman/caymanS, I am always happy to help - It may just save you a huge headache in the future as there is a lot of "bad ones" out there in comparison to the good ones. kind regards. Top Bloke, GLWS. lovely car, hopefully one day i will own one.
