  1. Am I the only one suffering from performance anxiety? Would shoving Viagra in the DVD slot help?
  2. I wanted to go out in Mr Zedders today but I had to spend the day inside the NEC at a trade fair instead. Drove there in the Evoque because I don't like leaving the Zed in car parks
  3. Shall we launch into the Three Yorkshiremen sketch? 2mb, you're lucky! I live in the middle of fields and my broadband speed is, at the very best, 1mb I lose the connection regularly, particularly in bad weather. Bit awkward really when you make a living running an internet business 4G will probably reach us in a few years. Whoopi doo!
  4. He was beautiful. I am sorry for your loss
  5. I can't give any plumbing advice but I hope you will post pics of the kitchen when it is finished?
  6. Wow, I vote for pink Mrs Keyser! I love the colour. I gave a little girl a ride on my pony today and she (girl) was dressed in an assortment of pink clothes, as was I If you can have any colour you want I would have a lovely metallic pink
  7. Thanks everyone! Just taken him for a drive and it was GREAT I love my Zed
  8. Further to my ongoing woes regarding my '06 Roadster roof, which I have detailed in several previous posts, I finally have what seems like a good result! The dealer appears to have fixed the problem, although I'm not fully convinced at this point since the issues have been ongoing for months now and all the body shop have done so far is cause more problems, much more serious ones than the original problem Anyway, after about an hour of arguing with them (husband not me, I avoid confrontation whenever possible ) they finally agreed to look at the paperwork which clearly stated that I had NOT consented to the fitting of a replacement roof and their argument rapidly collapsed. So, the roof appears to be fixed (?) although the roof motors might still be an issue, no-one seems sure, BUT I can take the car back any time during the next 12 months as they have now given me another 12 months warranty as a gesture of goodwill. My husband is like a Rotweiler when he gets into an argument when he knows that he is right so all credit to him for sorting this out for me Off to ride my pony now and then up to the garage to collect my car and my extended warranty. Might have to go for a little drive after all that
  9. Oi, you two stop picking on me - I'll get out more in future, I promise after all McDonalds have branches up and down the country, the possibilities are endless!
  10. Thanks girls for the nice comments on the shoes Definitely not going to try driving in them unless I want to crash before I've even left the drive! Actually my Mum did that once when she drove in heels. She managed to demolish a small wall and her face looked like this when she got out of the car My Dad's face looked more like this
  11. How come everything I say ends up meaning something else?
  12. Updated to say ... I just got a card and it's lovely We're now going for a slap up meal ... at McDonalds. Gosh, I am such a cheap date!
  13. Nissan were being helpful but now I can't get through to them so I've chickened out and am leaving it to my husband. I don't really like confrontation
  14. Thank you Vik I think they are probably rather Marmite. I loved them the minute I saw them but I can see that they are rather eccentric to say the least. Mind you, that probably sums me up too
  15. Ooops, thank you. Please forget that I asked such a damn fool question. I just looked properly at the page and it's not really that difficult to work out is it? My only excuse is that my eyesight isn't brilliant and the "Like This" box is (to me anyway) quite faint. My next question has to be what are the 'likes' for? Is it just to help us feel better if we get a lot of them? Or is there some other reason?
  16. How do you 'like' someone, as in like their post? I am not really au fait with social media apps so please could someone explain it to me?
  17. Goodness, the smut levels have increased again
  18. Black pudding? Yuck I wouldn't really have that down as the food of love
  19. Look, if you really want to borrow my shoes you can. I'll be needing them tomorrow but any other day is fine Ebized
  20. I tried to use trading standards last year when I had some sub-standard building work done and they were real toothless tigers. I had to pay another builder to finish the job in the end
  21. st519, sorry you are suffering problems too It's not too cold here but when the problem first became apparent it was quite warm so temperature not an issue. Garage have now stopped fitting new parts though and that is why we have an impasse. I've posted another thread in Warranty Issues since I posted this one because the service manager called me with the bad news that they were trying to wash their hands of the whole thing
  22. Oh, it's ok we're back to smut again
  23. glrnet, that sounds lovely Your partner is very lucky. I had some lovely gluten free pancakes made for me last night (bit late but we were too jet lagged to eat on Tuesday) which was nice, especially since he had bought me some maple syrup. Yummy! This thread seems to have gone off on a tangent somewhat. How did we end up discussing our metal heroes I wonder?
  24. I didn't read it either but I had the highlights read out to me Axl Rose's autobiography could be interesting to say the least! He has had his troubles.
