  1. Sometimes (well quite often really) you lot scare me
  2. Er, any advice on that then???? I thought that twice a year with the lights out and making sure to keep my liberty bodice on was plenty to keep any man happy? Liberty bodice.... As for the hotel being fully booked.... your Zed or mine You must be more agile than I imagined! There's not much room in a Zed
  3. Er, any advice on that then???? I thought that twice a year with the lights out and making sure to keep my liberty bodice on was plenty to keep any man happy?
  4. Ha ha, I love the tangents that the threads on here always seem to take. Sorry SMD, I just rang the hotel but they are fully booked for the forseeable future Never mind, I am sure that Mr & Mrs Wasso will be happy to see you later Pity you didn't come with me to Florida the other week - our room had two kingsize beds for some reason
  5. I think I'd cope ok with the language barrier because my father-in-law has a very strong accent and I can understand him ok The weird thing is that my husband doesn't think his father has an accent when, in reality, it hasn't been watered down at all despite years of living in Yorkshire. I think Irish accents are lovely and I like to hear Irish people say my surname because I can't actually say it properly myself since it's very Irish
  6. erm.........or not Not again! Every single time I post it turns into a plot from a Carry On film
  7. Wasso, seriously, what is Dublin like? I've always wanted to go since trying (and failing miserably) to read Ulysses My husband is half Irish but I think he's only ever been to Ireland once and that was on a work trip so he probably only saw the inside of a taxi and an office so he's no help.
  8. Wasso, I was all set to join you and Mrs Wasso but after seeing Attak's photo I will have to change my mind! I hadn't thought of Googling - doh He's just got home so I will forgive him this time ...
  9. No idea why I opened this thread as I am clearly not one of the forum's 'smart people' but that does seem a bit steep as admin charges go
  10. He rang earlier to say that he couldn't get home until late because the M62 was covered in fish I know its been raining a lot but that's one heck of an excuse
  11. How awful I don't keep up with the news but I have just read your link and it is shocking. It must make you feel a bit funny living so close to somewhere that a really evil thing has happened
  12. Looking at Chinese websites today whilst trying to source baby goods I came across my favourite bit of Engerish to date! I was looking at baby bibs which were triangular in shape and the translation read "Cute baby bib boy girl Saliva Towel Ape-man Triangular bandage" Needless to say I have ordered a gross
  13. Some good photos there Clown. I have 'liked' your laser one
  14. Ah, ok, I believe you now although as I scrolled to the bottom seeing Zola made me think it was a wind up, but it seems he was resident there rather than born in Croydon
  15. glrnet, that's good then. I had to pay for the samples from Argentina, not a huge amount but it was a waste of money nonetheless. I have managed to get someone in the UK to post me a sample pair of shoes today but I don't think from the photos that they are quite what I am after, unfortunately. I wish we could go back in time and still be manufacturing a huge range of British goods.
  16. ATTAK Z, I've heard of all the people on your list but think I've only ever heard Martin Clunes and Ronnie Barker actually speak. I hadn't realised that they were from Croydon. Or are you teasing me?
  17. Ekona, you have summed up my thoughts exactly! Who honestly wants to read a lot of boring stuff about my business? Even I don't want to and I own the thing I will do as Mr Biscuit says and keep my business FB page updated with photos (no words needed) of new products and spend my time doing what I enjoy doing most i.e. designing new products and trying to win new business.
  18. Thanks Will. That does help a lot so thank you and thank you to your friend as well I think I have a lot of research to do before I take the plunge!
  19. Oh dear. That sort of problem really puts me off. I think I could spend a lot of money and effort going to China and still end up with nothing to show for it
  20. SMD, I think we are all wondering what could be in your blog now and if it's actually worth murdering you?!!!! rtbiscuit (is it wrong that I always want to call you Mr Biscuit? ) I'd forgotten about my business FB page. I haven't updated it for a while but I was getting a few 'likes' when I uploaded photos of new products. Thanks for the reminder. I'm off to take a look at it now and, hopefully, get it updated before the night is out
