  1. I hope warnings aren't handed out for lack of parking skills? Everyone must look the other way in Wales when I am attempting to come to a halt in any space less than 10 times the length and width of my car
  2. I'd better start ringing the hotels to check if they can do gluten free food. Otherwise I will just have to go hungry
  3. Sarah, I hope this isn't the end of a beautiful friendship?
  4. Fancy you having pterodactyls. Not seen any here, well not for ages anyway
  5. Blimey Did you spot the culprit? Must be some huge bird to produce that surely?
  6. The charity ones I did last year?? I need a photo of you before I arrive I think. Don't want too much of a surprise. The one you sent me of your reflection in that TV that you were selling on eBay doesn't count either
  7. Thank you Scott - glad you liked your T-shirts If anyone does want any work doing I do embroidery, direct to garment printing (ideal for T-shirts), sublimation printing (great for photos of you and your car) and also vinyl printing for clothing to name but a few. I can also do baseball caps, mugs and mousemats which are very popular. If you want any orders to be delivered to you in Wales please can you let me know as soon as possible so that I can get them ready in time as I am setting off for Wales a few days early myself. Thanks
  8. 'Wow wow! This is a family forum! Has it got another meaning? Everything I write seems to have Please don't tell me what else it means. I will stick to my single entendres if that's ok!
  9. My iPad has a pink case. Pink cases are definitely the best sort to get It's not as good as my iPhone though which has a panda case. I am a very sophisticated woman, can't you tell?
  10. No informed advice from me as I just accept whatever I am given in the way of technology by Mr twobears, and it always seems to be an Apple product. I didn't want an iPad but he got me one anyway and I wouldn't be without it now as it is so useful, versatile and portable. I am sure that your granddaughter would love an iPad too. She is a good age to gain a lot of value from using it I am sure. I saw a very young baby playing with an iPad on the flight to Florida recently and he seemed to be enjoying himself I can also vouch for iPads for the older user too. My mother (early 70s) bought one a few months ago and she is a fiend on it now. I sometimes wonder if a thought ever goes through her head that she doesn't feel the need to communicate to me via e mail? We have been known to reach double figures and I feel nostalgic for the days when she would just pick up the 'phone and call me once or twice per day max ...
  11. Are you mocking my affliction? Maybe I should trade in the Zed for a clown car
  12. Last year I went to Millbrook for a novice track day training session. The instructor was fantastic, I learnt loads and it was brilliant fun. I wasn't racing against anyone else, just learning how to handle my Zed properly. If you want to compete against others it may not be what you want but I can highly recommend Colin and his staff at CAT driving training, based at Millbrook. They do a range off different training packages, not just the one that I chose. I enjoyed everything that I did but the handling circuit was the best as I was driving in a huge storm, the track was really slippery, I was flying round and I came to realise just what stickability the Zed has, even in poor conditions. It was also good to be able to go at 120mph and above and not be looking out for flashing blue lights in the rear view mirror
  13. If I'm still driving you won't want me to come too close I promise - if you have read my thread about my parking erm, 'skills'
  14. You'd think that handbags would have shrunk in size now we ladies only have to carry a smartphone but, perversely, handbags are now the size of feed sacks for some reason!
  15. I am sure that when I first joined the forum I got into trouble rather quickly for asking to see everyone's knobs. Still don't know why that was?
  16. Not much chance of me seeing it then unless he parks the thing at some point!!
  17. So will I get the chance to see your wrapped car in Wales Octet? I have never seen one close up so I would be interested to see the finish I do like the turquoise colour as you already know.
  18. Jay, yes, I can see how a really 'individual' colour would be better applied in wrap rather than respray form, providing it doesn't damage the original paintwork
  19. Um, conflicting views. I am back to wondering 'Why"? again now I suppose it is probably a horses for courses type of modification. I, personally, can't see the point unless it is way cheaper than a respray or you are going for a sci-fi type shiny metallic finish.
  20. I've been resisting opening this thread because it has been my ambition since childhood to own a TVR and, er, maybe it still is If I win the lottery any time soon I am going to buy myself a lovely Sagaris. I'll never get rid of Mr Zedley though because he's my dream car Some lovely pics btw
  21. Ok, I think I understand a bit better now. Thanks
