  1. Not a fan of eyelids normally, but they do give a more aggressive look and really suit your car. I wouldn't paint the lip though. Eyelids only gets my vote. EDIT: Just looked at the poll results after voting. Glad to see we're unanimously helping your decision - NOT! It's your car Sam, go with whichever YOU prefer
  2. I like 'em. I needed something to continue the lines of my side skirts, i didnt want the Nismo spats and went for the OEM splash guards. Which work, but these would work even better! I have seen them once before and they look great on a Zed
  3. Chris, you had a fox eye 'blade? Me too Awesome tool
  4. I did exactly the same Rich. It was on offer online and I just figured "that'll do" (Although it wasn't quite that cheap, I still got a bargain I figure). Think I paid less than £140.
  5. I had a TT that did a similar thing - kept leaving me stranded at petrol stations as the engine was warm. So I killed it with fire and bought the Zed. But what it turned out to be before I did that was the coolant temperature sensor. My friend had a Passat that did the same. Seems to be a common problem (and cheap fix) for VAG cars. Not sure if it's the same with Honda, but worth a shot. EDIT: Or just do what theheff said
  6. I've got the exact same headunit and I'm more than happy with it. It's a great HU for the price. The built in Parrot Bluetooth works fine (although you may need to update the firmware on the HU, depending what smartphone you're using), for it to fully play (and control) music from your phone but this is readily available via download on Alpine's website. You just update the HU with the software via Bluetooth. Although the sound output isn't bad, it is significantly improved by wiring the HU directly into the existing wiring. Follow this guide, it's easy as peas: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/58947-reduced-sound-out-put-after-replacing-oe-bose/ With the additional steering stalk, the only loss of functionality is with the phone. The phone button on the steering wheel now selects the source (radio/BT/CD).
  7. Thanks T C. I've done a bit of research and the ones I have appear to be exactly the same as the Circuit Sports 370Z dampers (in the same way my 350 ones are). The fixing brackets are exactly the same as the CS ones. The brackets/hardware in the ones you have linked to above are different (I'm not claiming one is better than the other). The dampers I have are considerably shorter than the ones in the eBay ad (and also shorter than the 350 ones), so will assume they use a different mounting point. A friendly, local owner (hello Jonny ) is giving me access to his shiny new Nismo 370 once he's picked it up, so I should have a much greater idea of what exactly is involved in fitting these very soon.

    Angled backboxes

Bit personal isn't it? The guy's only just joined the forum!
  11. Stop hijacking the thread Darren. If you want to sell your car, create your own for sale thread...
  12. Funny thing is, I specifically remember saying to the guy when he was writing the receipt; "Better put the time on it too, in case you've sped through a load of cameras on your way over here (Haha, jokes)". I never expected it would actually come to light that it would in turn be true (although in reverse)
  13. The guy was caught by a camera as he left mine in my old car after completing the deal. (As Matt said). The date the speeding ticket was printed is exactly one month (to the date) of when the sale took place - so well outside of the 14 day/2 week window. Either way, not my problem. I wasn't driving.
  14. Caught by a static roadside camera near my house - 35 in a 30 in my previous daily driver But, hold on a minute, the date of the offence is the date I traded in my shed for my Clio 182. The guy’s mate who I bought the Clio off delivered it to my house as it wasn’t taxed at the time (and he had trade plates). The time of the offence is 17:07 When writing me a receipt for the sale/exchange, I made him note the time – It was 5pm. Bingo! It wasn’t me Guv’nor! Moral of the story: Always note the time of a sale, cos you never know…..
  15. In all honesty Colin, I'm not sure. The only fitting information I have is shown above. I will do some further investigation. I was not aware of the 370Z bonnet lift system until after I'd ordered these. Unfortunately I am not familiar with the 370 and assumed the fitting would be very similar to the 350. I do not have any 370 owners local to me so I can have a look under the bonnet (hence the reason this set has appeared as a trial). The 370 dampers do not seem to be as readily available as the 350 ones - Think I now know why! I might just stick 'em on eBay.

  18. Hey, when did I become the scapegoat for all this orangeness??
  19. Yeah, it's no a bad choice I s'pose - if you like that kinda thing
