    New Battery

Slightly off topic but is there an easier way to check the fluid levels within the battery cells?? The diagrams within the handbook look nothing like what I can see when I take the cell caps off?! It is pretty dark down there though I admit but if I need to top up with distilled water I can not see the level lines or anything?
  10. any problems with rattling on the pads with standard discs, calipers etc literally just want to change my pads??
  11. really need to clean the zed, dirtiest she has ever been!!

  12. Change all bulbs for white led eg side lights, number plate bulbs, boot light, dome interior light, chrome indicator bulbs. Stubby aerial is a must to get rid of the standard telegraph pole! Changing speakers can be cheap especially if you sell the stock ones it's prettying a trade off and you get better ones a member done it on here somewhere. Pop chargers are fairly cheap especially of u get one second hand off a forum member and adds nice grunt to car. Few ideas there...
  13. i think the grey with those wheels looks spot on
  14. also after some EBC yellow stuff. Do they work well with the standad discs? Do they wear them down quicker i.e are the pads more abrasive if the stopping power is greater (which i presume they would be seeing as they are aftermarket parts, more expensive etc)
  15. what year is the car? are brakes in good nick? also interested in air take tube if it hasnt gone already, is it the berks one??
  16. Has anyone tried the cheap taiwan/usa/china clear reflectors in terms of product quality, fitment etc???

  18. that is very unlucky, not much else you could of done in that situation!
  19. Got let off the fine! Was told not to let it happen again though (the cheeky sods) or else may not be let off next time?!
  20. Took my motor into nissan ipswich today to make a claim on the perforation warranty, the dealer took lots of snaps of the oxidisation bubbling and under the bonnet rubber lip to send off to nissan hq for a decision, should find out next monday-tuesday fingers crossed. The chap reckoned in all his 13 years at nissan they will just turn round and say its stone chips but clearly evident that it is not!! Will have to wait and see....
  21. Quality, might have to give this a go! Do you know of any direct replacement speakers for the front also? Audiobahn do any??
  22. where did you buy from? are they a direct fit/replacement or any additional work required?
  23. nice look forward to seeing the progress how did you get your black engine bay bits looking so clean? Are the plastic bits still wet or have you used some sort of buffer? Can never get mine to stay clean for long!
  24. yeah I initally done that too.... never got a response months later best bet to take it into the garage and have a quibble with them, print off the successful forum topics too see if that will sway them in your favour
