Autoglym perfect bodywork gift collection offer.
Paddy78 replied to richard.hezlett's topic in Car Detailing
That is really good value as 9 bottles from CYC would be about £75!! -
Yeah fair point. They probably donate £££ to charity, but in my opinion it was a bit crude and vulgar. Yeah, I've bought a few BMW's which could be a bit construed! Depends how you look at it, some would argue a BMW is unnecessary, when a small cheap car would do the same job. I cant argue the point with you but I think you know what I was trying to make. Yes, absolutely and I do agree. It's ridiculous how much some people have and the RR dealer in Dubai has the easiest job in the world.

Good shout. Might order some Aqua Wax as this was really good stuff to use in Wales when I couldn't be arsed drying the car before waxing! -
Who's to say that those rich people don't help others? I'm sure they all give more money to charity each year than I do... and pay more tax (So indirectly helping poorer people). I'm not having a go stuarty, but you seem to have had a string of nice BMW's recently. Why did you buy those over a cheaper car and helping others?

+1 on the Meguiars Kit

Am I being retarded, but is there a price for the jack in this thread? It's on sale at the moment for £27.91 + delivery

I always flash and wave, but rarely get a response. It's kind of a running joke between my girlfriend and I as she thinks it's a bit tragic watching me get excited about another Zed and then failing miserably to get a reaction. One of these days someone will wave back!

** Tarmac Polished Strut brace Group buy **

Also paid! -
I believe that the torque figures listed are for dry (Un lubricated) nuts. Because a lubricated nut is easier to tighten and therefore requires less torque, so if you apply 120n/m you are over tightening and potentially damaging the nut / stud. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure I've read this somewhere?
-
Wow, that certainly is big! Can't believe you didn't remove the wiper while you were at it?
-
I would say not to put copper grease on the studs, but definitely on the surfaces which will be in contact with the hub and wheel. The reason not to put grease on the studs is that you can over torque the nuts as they are effectively lubricated and therefore easier to over tighten.

Me too! Girlfriend's money at the ready! -
A good and reputable LPG conversion would be about £3k... That's a lot of petrol... At 40mpg and £1.35 per litre that's nearly 20,000 miles of petrol.
