  1. No surprise really as the only real advantage over CCFL backlit LCD's was the superior contrast... LED backlit sets (Which they all virtually are now) are very much on a par with plasmas in that respect, plus no worry about image burn (Although that was more of an issue with older plasmas).

    Plenum Spacer

Bolts and washers mate. The kit comes with 2 sets of plenum bolts (One set 10mm longer for spacers) so no messing around with supplying different lengths!
  3. My Sony is about 5 years old, but the picture quality is still really good. New sets will probably be slightly better, but the sources haven't really improved over this same period, so not sure it is a worthwhile upgrade (Although, if I had the cash I probably would). I'd say it's way too early for Ultra HD. For me, it will only be worth upgrading once there is a Sky Sports Ultra package... but I think we are a few years off this yet.
  4. Massively impressive Mike! How hard was it to remove all the old bushes and did you have a special tool / press? Something I'm looking to do in the near future, but you look like you have about 1000x more mechanical skill than me!

If you want coloured washers, then look out for the next Group Buy that I run. This will be posted in a couple of weeks once the last GB orders have been delivered. Check this thread as it will give you an idea of what you get for your money: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/82830-engine-bay-bolts-group-buy-2-now-closed/ A similar kit from pro-bolt would be 2-3 times as much... if not more!
  6. Inflation? It does suck though... still it's only once a year.
  7. Berk High Flow Cats, Miltek “Y†Pipe, Cobra Exhaust.... from his sig!
  8. 0 points... ever. 1 naughty boy course.
  9. As kbeast says, not many will recommend Jap(Crap)speed stuff as it's generally pretty shite... but they are cheap! As long as you aren't expecting much from it in terms of quality, then no real reason not to.

    Undertray

As long as they are the same size it shouldn't matter. Some A4 Stainless Steel (Marine grade) probably wouldn't go amiss though!
  12. OP also states he has made a mistake and that it's a 2006!
  13. If it's a 2006, is it a revup and is it in the higher tax bracket?
  14. Basically, when brakes get hot / used hard the rubber hoses can expand. This can leave you with an overly spungy feeling pedal. SS hoses eliminate this.
  15. To be fair, if someone wants to steal your car they're going to (Unless it's an opportunist)... whether that be by using the ODB port, kicking your door in and stealing the keys or kicking your door in and chopping your hand off to work the biometrics.

I think the SC group will be too extreme for Gill... I'd like her to be less scared of my driving!
  17. I'm sure you can tether for free with a phone contract? At least, I've never been charged...
  18. I use GiffGaff, basically the same network as O2, so decent coverage and really cheap. Can't go wrong really. I'd never get another phone on contract now, just seems stupid when you can buy your own phone and pay £10 a month.
  19. You need some kind of software with it too. I use Torque for Android (But it's also available for iOS). Plug it in, pair it with your phone / tablet via Bluetooth and way you go.
  20. Torque Pro, but there are other good ones available: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.prowl.torque
  21. Well it's now £4.90 from Amazon... so what a bargain! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bluetooth-Diagnostic-Scanner-Engine-READER/dp/B004KL0I9I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1399472765&sr=8-1&keywords=odb2
  22. I also use the £15 one from Amazon. Works perfectly on the 350 and I've also used it on a friend's Megane, Astra and Saab to read and clear various faults for them.
  23. That'll be RS Tuning most likely. I believe their dyno is on the optimistic side by all accounts. Also, was that at the hubs or fly as that would obviously make quite a difference (17% IIRC after you take into account the power loss from the transmission).

No brainer, get it done! Worthwhile getting a remap afterwards too.
