  1. Better is relative but the 50/70 are quite similar so can be directly compared in a number of ways. The facts and figures could probably sway the argument that the 70 is a 'better' car. If this sells for around that price then TBH its a good thing for all of us Z owners so I won't complain
  2. True but I imagine yours was pretty new! But then I suppose this one is very low mileage.
  3. I made an amendment to your post
  4. My god 8 miles! This would be my main point of concern.
  5. Think I still have mine dude. Will check tomorrow.
  6. Be careful they don't **** your wheels up moving the tyres around!
  7. I think there is a negligible difference between the DE/HR in terms of 'speed'. So it all comes down to how much you prefer the spruced up interior and cosmetic exterior changes. The 50 market is all over the place at the moment. for 7k you could get a DE which is low mileage and has been cared for all its life. But you could also get a higher mileage HR that needs some love. I would buy a Z on here that fits your budget and location. When you see it, you will know if its the one or not
  8. Soft bags are a must in the Z. Hard cases do not work at all.
  9. Just read the thread and think your pretty good at doing little write ups so kudos for that If your pimping the 6 then I am shocked you didn't just go M6 given the relatively small difference in price second hand.
  10. Welcome! You can change from Fahrenheit to Celcius in the settings menu on the cluster. The Engine must be off to do this.
  11. Its only the turbo one that uses oil. Supercharged one is fine. The S that middle daughter had was a 58 plate (that was turbo wasn't it?), she never had to put a drop in it in 4 years, car was serviced at the recommended intervals. What level of oil use are we talking? 1/2 pint between services? Yep 58 is turbo dude. Same engine as the other half's. Oil consumption is probably a litre every 2k. My mates got a 63 plate and that's just as bad.
  12. They sorted the new tensioner in 2011 so it might have it already. I fitted the new version to my GFs 2008 R56S and it is a lot quieter now. Hopefully it's the new version fitted, don't mean to sound daft here but how do I tell if it's the old or new type ? N18 Engine came with the new one fitted. 06 to 11 has the N14 Engine. So as your is 61 its probably best to check the engine code. This is the longer tensioner if you need it - http://www.ebay.co.u...=item5d4d59d67a

  15. Big shame you had to sell the Z but at least its for the greater good. Be careful with the Turbo, they can eat oil I hear.
  16. Lol 8 minutes and its the worst crash ever Did the CTR ever get passed Andy? Hope not!
  17. Tyres in general are getting cheap! 275 35 19 MPSS - £162 http://www.tyreleader.co.uk/car-tyres/michelin/pilot-super-sport/275-35-zr19-96y-68555
  18. Hold up...you had 3 stops on a 200 mile journey?!
  19. Welcome! Do you have any photos of the US material?
  20. Looks like a good laugh How did the 'off' happen?
  21. I think I know where you are coming from here, even on the donnington Nissan Event day the GTR boys were very quick off the mark but as soon as you got to a tight corner they were all over the place. For me the corners are the fun part as TBH any car can do 3 figures these days. It's not shame not to like it, not everyone can! You know the Z now too, I bet you felt a bit detached in the first week of ownership though.
