  1. Lucky you. I'm 30, 13 years ncb & my final 4 payments from changing mid policy are £104 odd!!! Was cheaper when I was younger & wasn't a home owner But it's so worth it!
  2. hmmmm, and the insurance was cheaper on the beamer then was it? I was 24 when I got my zed, no ncb. Insured for 558 quid for a 10 month policy. Subsequently, it has now gone down to 410 quid for 12 month policy! (now that I'm 25, all of a sudden I am less likely to wreck it)
  3. Good to know, thanks! Nice looking bay
  4. Just ordered an aem short ram filter. If I didn't already have a cone filter, I would have just stuck to standard with a nice panel filter, but the car did come with a cone filter so I'm going to stick with the same (all be it a little more price and quality). It's too late now to change my mind, but was just wondering if anyone on here has any experience of these?
  5. a bargain for someone!
  6. Without trying to be deliberately and irritatingly pedantic, you don't have to prove anything. They do, in court. yes but if its their word against your - the magistrate will usually go with the PC Not without evidence
  7. Yes, I think that was what he was going for, but police still need evidence. It can't just be his word against another.
  8. did he forget to put his lights on at the end? No reason for copper to pull him and was clearly an uneventful night (until then anyway). Equally there was no reason for driver to be that argumentative, as rightly so, the officer doesn't need reason to pull somebody over, although clearly is a bonus! haha
  9. That's nice, why's everyone taking the mick?
  10. Sorry to read about your car, What condition are the front wiper arms in? Any plans for another z?
  11. A friend of mine claimed off admiral, no problems
  12. Pm'd
  13. Hi! When I bought my z over a year ago now, it had one of these pop chargers. It was pretty filthy so replaced it with a cheap auction site one. Now it's rusting a little. Quite frankly I want to go back to stock with a good panel filter. Has anyone got an air box spare that I could buy off them? I don't need the filter as I'll buy a new one, just box and fittings if anyone has those too?? Would be much appreciated. I'm in the Bournemouth or Birmingham area (I work in Birmingham). Cheers!
  14. Nice honest description of it! Auto dimming mirror, auto wipers etc. Water damage but yet quoted "no bad points" by seller!? I WOULD STAY WELL CLEAR! May even be a good car but very dishonest seller
  15. should be ok, the earlier keys have a transponder chip separate but I am guessing this is the later key which has it built in to the micro chip. The pedal dance will program the key and you will obviously need to get the blade cut so you can turn the barrel!
  16. I think your road tax bill might be slightly higher also? Another consideration
  17. It will certainly have had new rears along the way. Mine were toast at 10k and I'm really easy on my tyres. From the wear on my fronts they would have gone 20k ish but there were cracks appearing inside the tread when the car was 5 years old. Pete The guy says it has new Bridgestones in his ad. Why? Everyone who uses eBay has had to start at some point and as someone who has not used it myself that attitude hardly encourages me to start if I were so minded! My reaction is the seller is too honest if anything and he has not fully appreciated the value of his car......I might be wrong but it could turn out to be a great opportunity for someone on here if it does all check out. I said it was suspicious, not just because of the fact he/she had no feedback. All I am saying is that I would be extremely cautious if bidding on it. After all that's the purpose of feedback (but as you're not on ebay, you wouldn't know that). If it checks out, then great! A great bargain to be had! But when things seem too good to be true, they probably are
  18. reasonable but suspicious as the seller has no feedback! I wouldn't go near it unless it was advertised elsewhere too!
  19. Better off investing in spelling lessons!
  20. spice girls - wannabe - can't believe I just told you that!
  21. nice!
  22. Hey Harmlu funny enough thats where I have bought mine from. I'm sure if it was there before i would have heard it as i was driving with windows dwn. i only started hearing it in last cple of miles of the 40 odd mile drive i was on. i did pop into Normans and saw Tony who sold it to me as mechanics had gone hm.He thought was calipers but i wasnt sure so did some more research when got hm and i certain its this from all the info on it and you tube etc. Matt Before you start trying to fix the problem yourself, get them to have a look at it. Could save you a lot off ball ache in the long run! They are a very reputable dealer and I am sure they will have no problem helping you out with this!
  23. I'm from bournemouth and got mine from Norman Motors. I'm pretty sure they would have fixed this, but then they use there own garage for warranty, not a third party. What garage did you get it from?
  24. Yes, but reading further down. Pete Gotcha
  25. merry christmas (just to be different)!
