  1. +1 the reason I have never looked at them seriously is because the insurance cost was ridiculous. The only other car that is on that sort of scale for me to insure is an Evo.
  2. Looks good, if this can be done a bit cheaper id certainly be interested
  3. Yeah sure, il get that up tonight when I am home from work for you
  4. 2x Federal 595 RS-R 235 - 40 - ZR18 (91W load) tyres for sale Taken off the front wheels of my car when I needed to change the backs. (I was running this size both front and rear). The tyre fitters measured the tread for me and have said that there is a good 5mm of tread all round on both. No puncture repairs on either. Highly acclaimed particularly for circuit work; on the track these handled amazingly well. What Demon Tweeks says about them: The cheapest price I have seen these in stock are £326 for two new ones. I am based in Wrexham, North Wales. I am happy to arrange a courier at buyers cost. Asking £150 for the pair if collected. Any questions just ask Cheers Jonathan
  5. Like the progress Are you sure it hasn't been Uprev'd already, given that it has a plenum, exhaust and panel filter already on it?
  6. My girlfriend said I was a 'gimp' when I took this photo; I thought it was rather amusing!
  7. As others have said, having seen this up close in Wales this year it is a fantastic car
  8. I'm after 2x 245 40 18 MPSS anyone know af anywhere doing them cheaper than £150 a corner?
  9. £25 if you have your own crash helmet, +£10 if not
  10. It was an Avantime; the guy obviously saw the episode of Top Gear where they tried to make one faster than an Evo on a track and thought "oh yeah, I have one of them... which way is it to Oulton??"
  11. update: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/75231-track-day-video-at-oulton-park-20-8-13/
  12. Did a 30 min track session at Oulton Park yesterday, was a really good afternoon. The session before us was open to any car even if not road legal, so some really special machines out before, including Middlehurst with about 6 tuned GTRs I recorded this using the Mobius 1080p Action Cam (£50 on ebay); I am new to track driving, I know that I do not have stig-like talents, so please go easy on me

    Benen Tow Hooks

9k Tuning do (Honda specialists incidentally) and they are UK based. Also have the Password.JDM ones which look sick. Never used the company myself though...
  14. Yes it's about 4 quid! I got one which allows it to be more securely attached by 3m tape like helmet cams are attached with, also about £4!
  15. cant believe I have only just seen this thread! Looks awesome Matt would love to do something like this one day
  16. It has a battery pack built in which lasts 80mins, and can be replaced. You can also get external battery packs for longer power. I also bought an extra long usb cable for like 3 quid and it will power from the lighter with a USB adapter, and you can even set the camera up to record automatically when it gets usb power, and re-record over the oldest clips, like on a CCTV system which makes it perfect for dash cam work. Plus its tiny, the size of a keyring, so hopefully not a target to thieves
  17. Only of me driving around by where I live, which were very impressive. I'm at Oulton on Tuesday so hopefully have something after that
  18. Don't know; its the video that convinced me to get one
  19. It even has a HDR mode if you want to include yourself and the cockpit in the video. Have a look at this in 1080p... Not yet....
  20. I'm probably going to get flamed for this but here goes... I wanted an in car camera to record track days, as well as being used as a dash cam in the future if I ever felt the need. I had a go with a friends Hero 2 and was disappointed with the sound. After reading reviews like this one: http://www.techmoan....0p-micro-c.html I bought this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161057520191 and it only took a week to arrive from HK. Although it isn't as high a spec as some of the equipment listed here, it cost £50, and both the audio and video are definitely better than the GoPro Hero 2 (the owner of the GoPro agrees). Only downside at the moment is that there isnt a waterproof housing for it. So far, highly recommended EDIT: there are also UK suppliers if you are in a rush for it
  21. Keep telling yourself that. Seriously though, I don't think Jag have ever called the XJS, XK8 or XK an official successor to the E-type have they? By naming this the F-type they surely are telling the world that they think this is? +1
  22. Sorry buddy this sold aaaaages ago! Mods please lock :-)
  23. I thought that it made a marked improvement as well Graham when I switched the rears; I can only imagine that having the Alpine fronts as well sounds pretty damn good!
  24. I love that colour; almost looks like the colour has been photoshopped in its that eye catching
