I've found that Blackfire products have always brought out the best of black paint, personally.

That. Rinsing the car first just encourages the foam to run off more quickly, if anything.

Snow foam isn't a replacement for actually washing the car. Foaming will remove an amount of dirt in a touchless manner thus reducing the likelihood of causing scratches/marring to the paintwork when it is washed with a mitt afterwards. It does also make the washing easier and quicker too, I find.

That second picture alone would cast enough doubt in my mind to avoid that dealer altogether. They've not just gone to the effort of reversing the image and then photoshopping the number plate back on so it reads correctly but they've also swapped the rear wiper blade over to the other side. This suggests to me a blatant and intentional attempt to mislead. All IMHO, of course.

My first thought was import. Possibly had the rear bumper replaced for any one of a million reasons. Regarding the wheels, the Rays were an optional extra pre-facelift (I think, may have been up to the HR though), so not all early GT's came with them (later they became standard as part of the GT package though). Could also be that the owner's swapped out the seats, of course, and it's not a GT at all...

The Megs Quick clay is fairly fool proof and a good place to start, you get the lube and clay together. As for how long it'll last, it depends entirely on how much contamination it picks up from your car.

That is a ridiculous price for a 2002 import! Even if it is mint and well maintained. No leather either but it does have brembos so whoever has had it has possibly looked after it and spent time thinking about improvements I wouldnt say ridiculous, its only got 30K on it, FSH and is clearly mint - you could probably talk him down to £6K, I dont think thats bad at all. Cloth seats wear a lot better than leather as well Aside from the clear wear on the upright bolster in the last pic, you mean?
