INGs style 350z Pre facelift PU front lip - Group buy
ilogikal1 replied to Tarmac@TarmacSportz's topic in Tarmac Sportz
Facelift didn't include the bonnet in any way, both pre and post facelift have the same bonnet. -
It's both. And simultaneously neither. It's Schrödinger's character. Poooof again!

A 9, couple of 0's and a £. HTH.

Oh, forgot to add currently the best source of information on these products is the Nanolex section of DW. I'd provide a specific link, but seeing as I can't log in over there any more and their admin are ****, I'm sulking with the place.

I've not used mine yet, although the car's currently filthy again having actually been driven more than 3 yards since it's last clean and it's in for a service next week so I'll have to make it all clean and shiny for the guys at Atkin... even though it won't still be clean by time I get there. Er, yeah, anyway, back to your question; it's a snow foam but thanks to the ever-increasing popularity of using foamer bottles rather than foam lance & pressure washers for pre-washing (and thus the tendency to use at much lower dilution ratios), things like this (TFR's more so) have come under fire a bit for their "LSP safe" claims so it seems Nanolex have gone back to basics... albeit poorly explained. Because it's possible, I think Nanolex are just covering their backs and/or making it a marketing point - truth be told, most pre washes (ones that work!) can be used to strip wax if used virtually neat. Essentially, if you use it at "low dilutions", it can be used to strip wax. As it's a new product, there's not a lot of information about at the moment, but Nanolex claim even at 10:1 it's still "safe for [Nanolex] products" (although Florian stopped short of saying it's safe for any non-Nanolex LSP). I'll be chucking it at the Z through a foam lance at 24:1 (4% PIR) as usual when I use it, I don't expect it to strip anything... except maybe the virtually dead Cure. Of course, I'll be sure to post up my findings when I do use it.

As much as the money would come in handy (the only reason I'm selling them!), it wouldn't be the end of the world if they didn't sell and I had to use them myself... well, two of them at least.

Good time to upgrade to some proper gauges then.
-
Cheers buddy (on both counts ).
-
Existing one's? Do you mean from Nissan? The 350Z has no oil temperature sender from my knowledge but either way the gauges come with everything you need when you buy them. All run by a Defi controller using Defi sensors/senders. Link: http://www.driftwork...-bf-gauges.html If only someone were selling such a set for considerably less than that, like this for example.
-
Not all, I could come up with several solutions... ... it is probably the only sensible solution though.

The time has come for me to give these a new home, one where they may actually get used again. If anyone's thinking of going FI, these gauges are the minimum requirement to monitor the engine IMO. 60mm BF Series, blue illumination. Oil temperature (°C), oil pressure & (2.0bar) boost gauges with Link II Control unit (with original box & instruction manual [in English]), all the senders, connector wires (plus spare connectors), T-piece and even a card of some description in Japanese. These came out of my Impreza and were used for about 20,000 miles, they've never been fitted to my Z but the gauges themselves will fit in the OEM location atop the dash. The control unit has a fair bit of glue residue on both top & bottom from where it was previously fitted, but the gauges themselves are near spotless - a couple of marks on bits you can't see when fitted, as shown in the pictures below. All were in perfect working order when removed from the car. £450 + delivery Also needing a new home is my HKS SSQV II blow off valve. Again this came off my Impreza so comes with GC8 fittings, but I'm assuming the valve itself is easily fitted and it's just the securing bracket and (possibly) return pipe blank that won't be used. This was on the car for about 12,000 miles. Again, this is used. There's a few marks on the body and the silver paint is flaking off of the rear side - as shown below - but it's in perfect working order still. This currently has the silver fin fitted which can be swapped out with others for different sounds/pitches (not included in this sale). All original parts & packaging is included as shown below (including the ever useful GC8 fitting instructions in English and Japanese! ). Given the condition and this is an older version; Sold.

Get a Wasso & wait for the shiny to appear. Or, use the search. Wasso's given plenty of great advice on doing this.

I missed the smiley I was aiming for. My terrible joke might be a bit more obvious now.

It would help if we're ever to see her on the grid with any regularity though, sadly.

After 11 years working for a financial adviser network, I'm currently looking for a career change. Maybe it's different nowadays but when I was at that age (mid 90's) it was rubbish guidance anyway. I couldn't agree more with that on both fronts; the careers "advice" I got was virtually non existent, around the same time as Granville too. That lack of direction earlier in my life has pretty much left me at a point now where I don't have the qualifications I need to do what I want now. It's not the end of the world because there are always ways around that but it does make that much more difficult.

From your first link; I can see where the confusion lies, it's such an ambiguous comment. Also, from the video "further reports of unpredictable high winds earlier in the day... would he let something like winds catch him out?". Clearly so.

Sorry, I see nothing more than conspiracy fantasies and conjecture there to be honest, Will. The only comment that actually stood out was, The only reason that stood out is because the whole conversation was about how McLaren are lying and covering something more sinister up by saying that he... er... suffered a concussion.... Great cover up, that one. I'm intrigued though, why should these people "have genuine guess what going one" (sic)? Genuinely interested to know as why they would have more insight than anyone else, particularly the motorsport (and in certain cases, dedicated F1) journalists?

MOT Passed. - Didn't expect these advisories though

I stand corrected. -
Playing it a bit fast and loose with the term "interesting", Will.
-
Really, conspiracy theories? I mean really?!
-
No problem.

Saddle soap is as old school as a 2003 manual it's a wax as much as anything, nano sealants are much newer tech like the Gyeon & Dr Beasley's - and much more durable.

I assume you've tried "1234"?
