  1. Looking to do mine soon. Horsham developments do a pack for the stuff you need http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=78_169_293_1418&products_id=25501
  2. excuse the poor quality picture. She wouldn't sit still very long. Nothing like exploiting your pets for an Internet picture
  3. How would they find out though. Would the be some kind of audit if they was to die then?
  4. I'm by no way a expert but how about "selling" them something? Can't you just say it was payment for something?
  5. Well I think I'm going to be too big for the s2k so that settles that one. Still the evo though???
  6. I can't help but wantan s2000 or an evo and I don't know why. The zed is an amazing car. I love everything about it. But i can't help but want an evo or an s2000. I've never driven either of them. I seem to be checking pistonheads for anyone looking to swap either of them for a zed. I've read a lot on the s2000 being an acquired taste driving wise and the interior of the evo is so unappealing and doesn't look particularly driver focused, something I love about the zed, it's all kind of wrapped around you. Maybe I need to test drive them both and get it out my system. Please talk me out of these thoughts
  7. As title, I have a gunmetal zed, I'm considering wrapping the roof and front lip matte black. I'm also thinking about the rear spoiler and wing mirrors. Anyone ever wrapped these parts and have any pictures. Any thoughts on the plans I have?
  8. Ive used the washer on it before and had no problems. Im pretty sure its cause the paint was already damaged in the ses areas. I eill know better for next time Any ideas for a sticker to cover the top one with. Maybe a little jdm character or something??
  9. Washed the car yesterday as I was pressure washing it a few areas of paint flaked off the front bumper. See picture. I think this is where there were stone chips and the water got underneath it. The bottom lip isn't the end of the world cause I've been thinking about wrapping that anyway, along with the roof and possibly rear spoiler. The little bit by the badge is a bit of a pain though. With upcoming bills, mot insurance tax etc, plus brake discs and tires I cant afford to get it sorted right now. I'm thinking a short term fix might be a sticker of some sort, to hide it and stop it getting any worse? Any ideas for which sticker might look ok? Apart from spacers and lowering springs the outside is standard. Cheers
  10. Try pushing the clutch in when you turn it off next time.
  11. cheers mate, think I'm just going to take the plunge though and get them. I've only read good things about them gone be an expensive couple of months for me . need new discs and pads, had to by the Y pipe, obviously the tires and the rear drop links need doing
  12. Nope, no change in the drive at all. It's the engine knock I've noticed recently that is the most concerning really. I think its too infrequent to be anything timing wise, but I'm stuck on what else could cause it. There are no issues on start up. I suppose it could just be the exhaust banging when it's popping Think I need to get the new y pipe on and see what happens then.
  13. I tried recording it but it didn't come out very well. There is no consistency in the noise. I'm also get a clunk coming from what sounds like the bottom rear of the engine bay. I'm not sure if it's happening at the same time as the popping. There is no constancy in that either. It will not do it for 30 seconds to a minute then it might happen twice in 20 seconds. The car is idling fine and there is no movement when the popping or knocking happens, all the gauges are where they should be. Car is driving fine.
  14. I've just picked up a new y pipe as the flexi is damaged and I'm getting a burning smell coming from under the car. it's not fitted yet. I noticed today that the exhaust is popping randomly at idle. The needle is jumping at all, it's literally just the noise. Am I right in thinking this is just being caused by the damaged flexi?
  15. Saw this earlier guys when I picked up the y pipe, cheers mate. It is as good as it looks in the pictures. You can tell the mileage quoted is genuine. This is a steal for someone. If I can get the cash together then I'm gonna have it if no one else has already had it.
  16. Looks like the ad08s then. Cheers for the input people
  17. I'm looking at getting a set of one of the three sets of tyres in the title. I've found decent reviews on them all regarding wet and dry performance, Does anyone have experience with them in terms of tread wear. I'm not silly enough to risk the snow in the zed so there is no issues with that. They will be for road use only. Cheers Any comparisons from people regarding the performance are welcome
  18. I've always liked the EP3 civic typeR but could never get over the gear stick position. It's the one thing that's always put me off getting one
  19. So you were looking at what you believed were men's buttocks before you realised they were female?
  20. Is the LS2 the V8 engine? What car is it out of?
  21. by the time I've added the flexi, which i will need, it comes in at nearly £120. thats double the dremel. it will be used on and off really so think the dremel will be alright. there are some smaller proton ones on ebay but without having read about them they seem like they'll be more suited to delicate stuff like your r/c stuff.
  22. thats why i asked. i knew if i just went for the wireless one id be wishing i hadn't awesome, its cheaper aswell, gonna need a long old extension lead though. i wish i had a garage
