Must be, on every other vehicle I've owned there has always been a run in period. Also had my bandit clutch replaced last year then took it straight round the track, guess what I needed replacing soon after.

Is it worth buying the above cheap if found second hand one and they are in good nick? Or go for peace of mind and buy new? Also for day to day use is it worth upgrading to a better non OEM brand for these parts? Having read how much a new clutch is I can't help but want to save a few pennies but that's because I'm a tight @rse. Fankyou in advance x

I used to commute on a brand new Ducati 748SPS for a while before I swapped it for an R1, then used that instead. R1`s are cracking bikes for commuting on, nice and easy around traffic. Ive not been out on my 3 bikes for ages. Just not had the time to finish off the mods on them. Hopefully will have more time this year. 3 bikes!!! Crikey. I'm happy with 1 - good old bandit.
