  1. Bump, This would be a massive help as i'll be looking to get this done this week hopefully if the weather is decent
  2. Does anyone have a spare washer bottle lying around they could measure the I/D of the balance line connections? I need to make plugs for mine so I can remove the other bottle on the passenger side to allow my intercooler pipework to sit better. I'd rather have the plugs ready made to save taking the bumper on and off loads. As per pic below Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  3. Its been a while but a small update. Some good some bad. Car is mapped as far as possible, Chris has taken it as far as the clutch will allow before is starts slipping. The new clutch isn't playing ball due to not being bedded in(baptism of fire on the dyno ). Going for a Mot tomorrow then all going well I'll get it picked up soon. Chris has limited the revs to as far as it's tuned and i'll run about in the car for a few hundred miles to bed the clutch in then get it back in to him for the final tweaks. It will be nice to have the car back but will be gutting to have it restricted for a while and have to explain to everyone that It's not ready yet and I have no final power figure just yet. Nearly there though!
  4. Just sorted the mrs out for the year with green flag. £43 for personal cover for the two of us, cost £0 to add me so was rude not to take it.
  5. Clutch line sold. I'll get it posted tomorrow, sorry I never got it away today. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  6. If you could do it yourself you'd save a fortune. Not touting for work but it's no hassle if anyone needs something presses out sending it to me. Cover postage for the return and ill sort you out. Folk on here have helped me often enough Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  7. Still waiting on my final result but so far he's been top notch. Got to add he was very helpful and lettings me drop the car off despite it not being booked in, really busy with work and he's managed to take the car off me and be pretty Felixble. No one has ever worked on the car other than me but felt totally at ease leaving it with him. Defo recommend him to any jap enthusiast Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  8. I get green flag for the Mrs £43 for personal insurance + free 2nd driver. Trick is to register the primary vehicle as a new car. She uses the old puggy for work but her main car is registered as a new golf r so it's cheap as chips. Last year it was £20 for personal breakdown cover but they changed there policy this year 😡 Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  9. If all your arms are ok and you want to save a bit of money then you could replace the bushes with stock bushes, this will still improve your ride if your suspension is as worn as you say. Poly bushes will firm up your suspension a lot more and should last a lot longer. The hardest part is getting all the old rusty and corroded nuts off. I've not got the patients to do it all at once so I've just been swapping mine out when ever the stock bushes deteriorate
  10. If your planning on keeping her then bite the bullet and give her a refresh of all new poly bushes and get a geo alignment, Should feel like night and day when it done so will be worth it.
  11. Following this as Its a pain having to delete games every time I want to install a new one and if its an easy job I'd be better of upgrading, I'm just not that tech savy
  12. If your still making these drop me a pm please
  13. No problem just send me a pm regarding either payment via paypal or to arrange collection
  14. Good to finally see this finished, looks really good. The lip and skirt combo are subtle but make a big difference, might be tempted to copy you

    A few bits

Got a few bits left over from the build so might aswel clear some space. All items are located in Falkirk Braided clutch line from the JWT clutch kit for a DE Brand new as I already had a braided line £20posted Vortech Filter - Brand new still in the wrapper. I made my own intake so this was surplus. £65 posted I've got these lower control arms but not overly fussed about selling them but if anyone wants them they can feel free to make an offer. They are in decent condition, I pushed all the old bushes out and I gave them a quick clean up in the blaster at work then gave them a quick coat of the only spray paint we had lying around to stop any corrosion, defo not a professional finish Working constant 12 hour shifts just now but I'll do my best to get the postage sorted as quick as possible
  16. Just had a look on their sites, only sell the full pulley. I'm just after the bearings. Might send them an email asking later though Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  17. Just been advised from Chris at dyna tune that my idler pulley bearings are sounding a bit rough. Does anyone have the part numbers for the bearings so I can order up new ones and do a quick swap in a day. This would save me stripping the bearings out to find the part numbers and having to wait on the new bearings arriving.
  18. Sorry I somehow forgot to add that in my post haha Yea it was an UpRev map, I'd definitely say go for it, you'll certainly notice the removal of the throttle restrictions if nothing else. Trust me I'd to be pulled off it a fair few times Outstanding car you've got, I must have about 50 photo's of it haha Must be some drive with that supercharger! Haha cheers. Needs booked back in at the body shop at the end of the year to tidy up a few bits, going to enjoy driving it for the summer first. I've not even herd it tick over yet since I fitted the charger, just dropped it off a few days ago while I had a chance. He mentioned he had one booked in in-front of mine that must have been yours Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  19. Yeh he's a nice guy who clearly knows his stuff, He's got mine in just now on the waiting list to get re-mapped. Started fine on the base map but turns out my alternator has seized ober winter so that will need fixed first Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  20. Well finally got a recovery service that turns up so it's over to dyna tune now. Squeaky bum time haha 😂 Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  21. So these would be plug and play for UK DE cars? http://fullcartuning...ack-nissan-350z I quite like them but can't be bothered with splicing wires etc
  22. I had to cut down the mounting bolts on the intercooler, otherwise they'd have been sticking into the fins on the oil rad. Looks much better than my butchered bumper and un symmetrical view through the grill. Suppose I can always change it in the future. Keep up the good progress Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  23. Looking good. Kinda wishing I'd hidden the oil cooler the same as you have now. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  24. Sump removed, thread was stripped and bolt was held in with loctite or something to appear tight. Drilled and tapped to the next size up and re-fitted the sump. No more oil leak Made a new bracket for the the catch can so it sits better now and fitted P clips to hold the wiring loom away from the charger gears, re fitted the strut bar after a re-spray since the bases had a bit of corrosion on them. How the bay sits finally Front end for now, washer bottle will be removed and pipework adjusted after the mot Lower arms fitted now Old arms out Old bushes pressed out, fair to say they've seen better days. Hopefully that's all that will be needed for her mot Cleaned up the old arms in the blaster and gave them a quick coat of matte black Turns out the two sets are different part numbers if you look closely at the numbers on the arms in the pictures. Only difference I can see is that the ones I've fitted now have less of a recess for the ball joint nut which doesn't allow the split pin to be fitted so i'll take these off and thread lock into place next time i'm under the car. Bumper is trimmed and re-fitted, under tray etc all re fitted. no pics Car was booked in to be taken to dyna tune today but the company let me down by blanking my phone calls etc when they never turned up . Trying to find some one else to do it but struggling, anyone local got any suggestions? Still working overtime so not sure when i'll be able to get it through now So its all washed and ready to go I think haha
