Hi guys, Seems I'm having a bit of bad luck at the moment! What a fun Monday morning! No engine lights, not firing, battery voltage ok. I disconnected the battery for a bit too. I had a tow truck on the way when all of a sudden it finally fired and started! Garage had a look at it but couldn't find anything wrong. Ideas ?

Sorry for the question then delay in evidence etc...insanely busy at work. I went under the bonnet and found this ancillary to be the problem, what is it, the air conditioning pump or power steering ? Next questiom...how much Alex ?

I'm not sure, to me it sounds like it's coming just from the engine, maybe transmission, not sure

Hi Guys, Been a while since ive posted, so busy! Wonder if you could help diagnose a problem im having. Just this week I have noticed my car sounds different when idle. Its not a ticking noise, its just a different type of engine note, making the engine sound different. I cant notice the noise if I open the window, just in the cabin. Recently I have had problem of a dried out bush on the clutch, that's creating a squealing noise when depressing and releasing. So im not sure if this is related. I also have squealing belts when cold. Both problems are due to be sorted in my upcoming service and mot, so have delayed getting them sorted. The performance hasn't been effected and I cant hear it when driving. IT may still be there but I can only hear it when idling. I have no CEL warnings Anyone got any ideas ? Thanks

What's the striker ? Is it the n shaped steel hook. I did have my Nissan jack fail the other week, causing the car to shudder a bit as it rolled off the jack. The door was wide open but didn't hit the floor. Pretty sure it's been doing it since then.

Hi, Quite a few threads lately from me, fixing little things etc. Thanks so much for the help anyway. Not sure how this has happened but my passenger door isn't closing properly. Its not aligned properly so every time i close the door it hits the latch, making an awful noise. The door does close fine, but want to fix it. So I need to adjust the door alignment, anyone advise the best way/guide ? Cheers

Are there any uv protection solutions to apply after the hard work ? I did this a couple of weeks ago and the sun has already caused yellowing around the top. p.s Waiting for some fool to say sun cream!
