downhuman: Yeh what I mean is the adaptor is listed as it works for >2005 _____________________ Well Ive done a fair bit of research, seems a possible winner, not positive yet: For Navara's pre 2005 the default stereo was: Recognise it ? ....and it too suffered the same problems! Makes me think that this will be easier to swap, in terms of size and wiring. Now the newer unit, which im afraid is a Clarion too, though in my opinion far better and more functional. It has a built in blue tooth module. 6 Disc changer, Address book. Most importantly I cant see anyone complaining about disc skipping in the forums. I have managed to find a photo of the back and it has the same sockets However I am yet to confirm the wiring is the same. There is one socket I do not recognise but I think it is the aerial: Next step will be confirming the front fascia will fit. THEN i will take the plunge and get it fitted Anyone got any idea how much Nissan charge to recode and pair a headunit ?

Reason I ask is I was looking at the wiring diagram for the navara and by chance stumbled on this: http://www.incar-emporium.com/product_info.php?products_id=5074 Which in the description specifys the navara to iso adaptor is compatible with the 350z aswell...meaning could it be a straight swap ? however it says for 2005, so wanted to know if anything changed.

You have to take the unit to a nissan dealer. Ive joined a navara forum to try and find any audio boffins, gonna try get a wiring diagram

Pretty sure its direct fitment, maybe a different bracket. Colour is very close. Tempted! Gonna measure it up soon, parents have a navara so will take a ruler

Hi. Ive pretty much had enough of the Clarion unit. Cd player has broke and although I really like the ipod hack, I want something better. However I really want it standard looking, meaning something that is Nissan dinn. I really think the Nissan Navara standard head unit, its pretty functional, blue tooth is good in it and it has the same steering wheel controls. Would it be viable to do this ?

Ah Brilliant. What iphone are you using ? I have an iphone 4s wired up via the apple connector but just to the head unit, not powered

Well its time to get some new tyres for the rears. Current cheap ones, fitted when bought are so loud and i have to travel quite a lot so quietness is key and also durability, lot of motorway driving. Any brand recommendations ? I know nothing about tyres. Cheap websites ? Thanks

Hi. Well the car is just about to hit 90k, still running well, oil consumption has become noticeable but nothing bad. Got a service and mot coming up and want to seafoam the car, prior to the event. Are there any guides ? Specifcally what areas to insert the sea foam. Specially for the intake vacuum. I had intended on putting it in the oil and fuel, say a few days before the service. that ok ? Hi Dan Well for a start find a wiring diagram for the lightniing cable. I would also check the amperage required for the iphone to charge as I once had a 12v usb connector which i plugged the iphone cable into it and the amps were half what it needed to be. I did the bose hack a few months ago. I have a 4s and wired in an iphone connector to the bose. Maybe you could do the same with the 5

throttle position sensor needs resetting, ecu reset will do it

Could someone please tell me what cable i need to wire up my iphone through the jack socket. A ebay link would be most handy.
