  1. Had a great day Sunday, weather was perfect even if I did get a little burnt! Saw all your Zeds but didn't get to meet the owners! Never mind there is always another show. Do wish I'd parked in the show part though, my Zed got shoved at the back of our club stand thought it was a little harsh considering I didn't see another yellow GT4 all day! Sent from my phone.
  2. Funny, me an a mate are bringing a Zed and a Civic too Just finished cleaning my Zed and tucked her up ready for tomorrow Sent from my phone.
  3. Ah just too late Ian, but a mate at work is looking to buy his first car so ill pass it into him. Cheers! Sent from my phone.
  4. I dont know but I have a feeling it wasn't and possibly wont be again...
  5. Oh cool, did not know that! Worth doing then, cheers
  6. Cheers Chris, will take their number with me and see if they can help.
  7. First car at 17 was a 1.2 v8 Fiat Punto Active Sport. Loved this little car, not fast but handled pretty well actually. Fitted some Xenons and Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s alloys. Needed lowering and spacers really but I didn't keep it very long Next, at 19, I purchased my 2.0 MK2 Rev4 Toyota MR2 GT T-Bar. Loved this car to bits but it gradually started to feel a bit old. Very sad day when I sold it. Made a few more mods to this one, more Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 alloys, black spline drive lug/locking nuts (had to get these direct from McGard in Germany!), custom built exhaust, red interior and also a little glowy MR2 thing below my radio And now my 350Z GT4 I brought at 22. Only spacers fitted so far but have plans to up the performance but keep the standard look Oh and I have this heap as a winter car/track toy 1997 Peugeot 106 GTi
  8. Going to look at a few Honda Civics for the missus later and was wondering where you guys get your HPI checks done? Ive only ever used Autotrader as I was in a rush but £20 a pop is a bit much! Anyway ill be out and about so any smartphone friendly (iPhone) HPI check sites/apps recommendations welcome!
  9. Really? How so? Not like its the first time. There were a few Nismo parts for the old K11 Micra.
  10. Toyota did just do the GT86 and have made mention of a new hybrid supra and possible MR2. Edit: oh and Honda's new Hybrid NSX
  11. This is all I've found so far. No mention of GTi-R though. http://www.nissan.com.au/Pulsar
  12. Looks like HKS replica to me!
  13. Good luck with it mate Would love to see some pictures when its finished.
  14. Yeah I tend just to pick a smooth flowing lane and stick cruise control on at 50 Sent from my phone.
  15. Planning on going with a true dual system rather than a Y pipe? From what I've discussed with Abbey Motorsport you might be better off sticking with a Y pipe to the rear box unless your planning to go big power turbo setup. Edit: Oh and to answer your question, personally I would have a silencer somewhere down the line as well but that's personal choice really. I prefer a little subtlety rather than making everyone think the world is ending when actually I just need something from Tesco.
  16. I live only a few miles from where I work and I drive the Zed every day. MPG suffers but its no worse than my old 1997 MR2. Got about 20MPG out of both of them. The Zed on the other hand is miles better for long journeys. I recently reset the computer and compared a 100 mile round trip to a 10 mile commute. MPG was around 28-30 over the 100 miles. So yeah, not as bad as everyone makes out especially if you often do long cruises.
  17. Quite a rare sight, but it always amuses me when you notice a convoy of vehicles behind a single police car on the motorway, all plucking up the courage to overtake. Coppers must be having quite a giggle too.
  18. Feel like I should not have bothered with a club stand pass and joined the rest of the Zeds now lol Never mind, ill be sure to come and have a peak at your cars!
  19. I know a couple of people who when commuting went thought average speed cameras over the limit and nothing ever came of it. Personally I don't like to risk it. I know there are a few types of non-average check cameras but the main ones are front and rear facing cameras. The rear facing (Gatso) cameras with square lens/flash use radar to measure speed. These flash because they face the rear of the car and so less risk of blinding the driver. The front facing (Truvelo) cameras with round lens/flash use loops in the road to measure speed. Normally indicated by two or three narrow white lines across the road. These use infra red flash which is not visible to the human eye hence why they can take a picture of the front of the car. Cant vouch for the one near you but is is possible that its a Truvelo infra red one and all these people passing you are getting caught Agreed, I have one near me that has been duct taped over the lens/flash for a few weeks now. Nothing been done about it.
  20. cringe worthy reading! Their poor daughter, who knows how that might affect her
  21. As above, seems a bit rough. Filter looks a state, when was it last cleaned/changed? If not recently then what about other service items like fluids and belts? Lack of coolant cap also a bit weird...
