  1. So does mine but those buttons come out easy. Disconnect the plug on the back pop it out and fit a blanking plate.
  2. Just done a bit of research, http://www.motinfo.g...m4s01000701.htm MOT regs read: Surely that means if they are fitted they must work, if not, no fail?
  3. Welcome to the club Do you still have the Jordan? I know a friend of mine is after one. Any pics of that would be nice to see too!

    Beautiful!

I had a set of those when I first passed my test, I managed to get my foot wedged between the edge of the aluminium step plate and my clutch. The rivets got drilled out of them as soon as I got home hate those mats with a passion now. They wouldn't be a deal breaker by any means! I put a set of silver ones in my 106 GTi (winter car/track toy) after I took all the carpet out. I didnt want to have to have the mats in all the time so I got some extra wide double sided velcro tape and velcro'd the mats to the car floor. They stay in place well enough but I found that my heel would slide around in the grooves of the metal part when my feet were wet. Being a winter car this was all the time! Ended up using the last of the velcro to stick one of the rear passenger floor mats over the metal part. Proper bodge job to go along with the brake pedal rubber I stretched over the accelerator pedal

True but at least they match the car.

Very nice. If only I had the money and space for a second Zed, I think that'd have to be it!
  7. Fair enough, ill take a look at the reflectors I've got when I get home from work. No fussed about getting a discount, was more wondering if it would save you the cost of a pair. Plus at £50 these are a damn good deal anyway so put me down for a set
  8. I asked this a little while ago: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/72458-nismo-v2v3-and-headlamp-washers/ Bit late now I know but you could remove them completely. If its fitted it has to work otherwise they cant fail you on something that's not there
  9. Going to order some with my service parts from ZMan, cheers guys.
  10. I guess it would have been adjusted when the clutch was changed? Because first time I noticed it was after the clutch was done (before I adjusted it myself) So some more fiddling may sort it? Oh happened before you lowered the pedal? Ignore me then Yeah, tried adjusting the pedal to fix it
  11. Ah your tempting me! I actually brought a set of clear reflectors from RS/Steve 350z a couple months ago but not got round to fitting them yet. Any chance of a discount if I send you my reflectors? Also, I not sure if someone asked this (did search the thread but nothing came up) but how are they wired in? Do they come on with ignition or with side lights? I assume they could be wired up to a separate switch which could go on the blanking plate next to the traction control button?

  13. That was my first though. Planning to have P3 service done soon so might ask Japex about it. Will give alex a PM anyway as I am talking to him about service items as it is. Cant tell if its heat or just traffic as obviously the car tends to get a little hotter in traffic than on the move. Dont recall it happening over the colder months but then again I didn't drive it as much then. Thanks both!
  14. On my way home from work today my clutch pedal started to stick about halfway when I lift my foot off. I had noticed it before and it appears to only be when the car gets hot or when I have to do a lot of stop/start driving in traffic. Its happened a couple of times before when it was warm last year. Now its starting to warm up again its resurfaced. The travel between the fully up and the point it sticks at doesn't have any effect on the car at all. Its like the tiny bit of free play you find on most cars but considerably longer. I had the clutch and flywheel replaced in the last year so I know thats good. I also adjusted the clutch pedal when I had this issue previously but made no difference. (edit) - also put a little WD40 on it after adjusting in case it was something in the pedal mechanism. Checked the fluid level which is fine. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Video below - excuse the lack of shoes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYCq2v2y5f8&feature=youtu.be
  15. Welcome! Love blue zeds, was my first choice originally as I never expected to be able to get a yellow GT4 I feel your pain over not being able to have it right away. I begged my boss for a day off work the following day after putting the deposit on mine
  16. Things like this make me realise why I don't let anyone else clean my zed.
  17. No sure how I missed that That'd be good, would like to see them on in the day time.
  18. Dont suppose anyone has an pictures of these fitted do they (other than the OP's picture on page 1)? Think the idea is brilliant, its always annoyed me that the reflectors dont do anything on the earlier zeds, but I'd need to see some other peoples cars with them on to decide if I want them on mine.
  19. Need to get myself one of these cans too. Funny, just yesterday I was wondering if anyone else had had the same smell.
  20. Just thought, its probably worth removing the switch and replacing it with a blanking plate. Anyone know if the car will throw a wobbly (dash light)? Cant imagine it would...
  21. Cheers Smudge! So now the big question is V2 or V3 lol
