  1. There's quite a few videos of it on youtube, some in car stuff as well. They sound Dutch. Awesome sound from that exhaust !
  2. I think Mark at Abbey had a set, could be worth a call 01883 732331
  3. I didn't use L&G but Abbey changed my gearbox oil amongst other stuff on a P3. Before the change I had that typical, really notch when cold, gear change that many Zs seem to have but after the oil change it is really smooth. Not sure what oil they used but I'm sure they'd be happy to tell you.
  4. That torque wrench is really good and very strong. I keep double checking it with the tyre place wrenches and its always accurate...or as accurate as they are anyway Cool, it's about time they started selling decent tools. They used to be laughable!
  5. Check ebay for snap on ones at reasonable prices. If you can get one at a good price, get snap on to calibrate it (about £40 I think) and it'll serve you well for years. If it needs torqueing, use something you can trust. Maybe Halfords stuff is better than it used to be but personally I wouldn't trust it.
  6. There's been so many theories about this film which has been around for decades. Everyone seems so keen to kill the mystique to it. If it was dubbed over, then it was very well done and .... someone had great fun recording the Ferrari sound track as there's a lot of flat stick in top going on Fact is, it's great to watch, sounds great and is a petrolhead's dream so .... it's an F1 driver in a Daytona (or pick Ferrari of your choice) flat stick through Paris. He makes the drive, gets the girl, and all before breakfast. Works for me
  7. All imported cars and bikes I've dealt with have 'this vehicle was first registered abroad' on the V5 unless it was imported brand new with a cert of newness. There is usually a way of telling the market from the VIN which any Nissan dealer should be able to decipher for you.
  8. Welcome. You may not need parts though, depends if it's the drop links or the axle splines. I had both but it was actually the axle making the noise which Abbey Motorsport have a fix for if you're from the south?
  9. Have a word with Ian at Quantum AVS 02083379666. He was talking to me the other day about making/installing these. He does ICE for a living.
  10. How big is this egg and is it soft? Radial tyres don't always have smooth walls due to how they're made up and slight 'contours' on the wall are normal. If it's instantly see-able and can be poked like it's de-laminated then yes, it's dangerous.
  11. and this was my other one, not so quiet, not so comfy and not much to the gallon
  12. This was my last 4x4, you get a LOT of car for your money. Quiet, very comfortable, bags of power and 20 odd to the gallon if you're careful
  13. surely it's got to be http://www.bowler-offroad.com/Nem_2009/ ... R_home.htm
  14. A hidden boot release and a hidden documents compartment ! I need to investigate Thanks guys, keep 'em coming!
  15. How much are you looking for for the Canon lens?
  16. Sounds like to me they're going to clean out the intake of the oil rather than actually find out what the cause of the oil burning is. I don't actually think there is a problem y'know, as if there was you'd notice yourself when doing your weekly oil checks (you do do your weekly oil checks, don't you? ) and if it was that bad I reckon you'd have a seized engine by now. Personally I'd be cleaning the MAF with some carb cleaner, letting Nissan clean your entire intake system (including throttle body), resetting the ECU and then seeing how the car feels. Ditto. Maybe it was just a mechanic 'scoffing' at the oil burn when he started. If it's been standing or running badly due to the earthing problem you could have a build up that just needs clearing, maybe from the valve guides or even past the rings if it's been fuelling bad due to that earth problem. Let them do there bit then drive it normally for a few days and see how it is.
  17. I repair, build etc motorcycles for a living. Fortunately it rarely happens when they're in my shop BUT, components break at some point in their life and I've had it happen to me where something totally unrelated to the job I was doing (changing a back tyre for example) lets go (a gearbox for example!). However, having said that, a car to suddenly start smoking is very suspicious unless they've blocked a breather or something. Did you check your mileage and fuel before you took it in?
  18. Abbey Motorsport in Oxted. Big thumbs up! P3 service + trans oil and spark plugs, front suspension bushings, rear drop links, clicky axle fix, new wiper arms and blades, dent removed from tailgate, sump guard bolts drilled out, front discs and pads all round plus a tuning package with Y pipe, decats, plenum spacer, filter and UpRev. Awesome service from start to finish and a courtesy car. Thanks Abbey
  19. " We guarantee that for the money you will not find a better deal! Remember these modules are not sold anywhere else!" ermmm..... yeah, quite a safe guarantee then ! What a con, the whole advert is full of sh*t!!
  20. Goodwood racing circuit for that old England feel ! Also the lavender fields will be in full bloom soon all over the south east and they make an amazing back drop.
