Been to my local car audio specialists and looks like im taking the plunge into the realms of a new head unit. Dont worry im not going to ask any questions that I cannot search... well maybe Getting my Iphone 4s soon and wanting to use this with the new head unit. The unit itself I wll not be fitting, im terrible with cars in general! As always it's down to the individual as to what they are after just wondering if anyone has opinions on the below head units im looking at. 1) http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alp-cde ... 235bt.html - Cheapest of the 3 and functional. 2) http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/25/29 ... index.html - Media centre, just how good are these? 3) http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/25/10 ... index.html - Looks good.... Option 2 & 3 are quite a big price jump from option 1..... Choices choices! Hopefully SMD has some more intel as you seem to be the resident guru Thanks for looking Steve.

Out of curiosity what wheels would you go with if not black? Probably good old silver or gunmetal depending on the car. I just find the whole fashion for black wheels very tiresome. It looks bad in photos, and hides the shape and detail of the wheels. YMMV of course! I have to say I have never been a great fan of black wheels either for the exact same reason, hides the shape of the wheels etc. Seems to be all the rage having black wheels on new cars these days, see a lot of them around. A few cars can pull it off and imo Bob's Zed does it very well with the theme he has going
