First thing I will say is Buster's method works like an absolute charm, great work Buster! How the day started.... So headed off down the Zed Shed today so Bob could fit my new head unit. It's amazing how far some chocolate cookies, Chocolate ring doughnuts and some allsorted biscuits will get you with Keyser and Buster Buster making a start Keyser playing with his toys in the Zed Shed Dash/Bose out Buster tried the Sony unit all connected out of position to make sure that the unit worked etc and to show me the difference of volume. The Sony unit on maximum was terrible and could barely hear it! So without hesitation I wanted Bob to work his magic with his workaround. Busters quick donut break Back to it and Bob snipping a few cables here and there to do his mods Getting cable ready for soldering.... Buster using the heat gun on the cables Head unit back in all connected Finished job and all the steering wheel controls worked a treat. The Sound difference afterwards was immense, putting the volume up to around 13 out of 50 and that was loud enough! Compared to how it was before Busters modification has made it crazy loud All I can say is a HUGE thanks to Bob for changing over the stereo for me and doing the modification and for Keyser letting me come down and annoy him by asking stupid questions You guys are seriously awesome. and the final picture Thanks guys. Yeah looks good, if all goes according to plan I will pick up tomorrow from the local branch. The head units I looked at yesterday didnt need a new fascia, so not sure if that will be the case with this one. Also doubt that the same company will want to fit my head unit so will need to find someone else to fit it who knows what they are doing. Plus I need to order the extra wiring looms or whatever they are called, which I need to investigate further into. So basically what im saying Dave, no chance for it being fitted for Port Solent! Booooo :thumbsdown: I picked up my JVC on a saturday morning and it was fitted by lunchtime I think you will need a fascia whatever headunit you get unless it is curved like the Zed dash Ican recommend incartec for everything you need, give them a call, tell them what you have, give them you card details.... sorted Cheers for heads up with Incartec Dave. Strange, just saw this deal on Hotukdeals.com about 5 mins ago. So decided to buy it, looked like most stores were selling out very quickly! So does Buster have this model then? Thanks Steve.

Edit:just watched the video and it doesnt do the game justice Did you play the free beta weekend a couple of weeks back? It was awesome Play BF3 on pc mainly and GT5 on PS3.
