  1. Great colour choice I may be a little biased tho
  2. Could always just use a proxy to view it http://tinyurl.com/blhuba3
  3. Probably not the case but i had the exact same thing once and it was a loose battery terminal so check those. I would also try cleaning the intake with some carb cleaner, im sure there is a guide somewhere.
  4. Very good taste in colour +1, oh wait a minute...
  5. Ill be up for trying something out and seeing how it goes, always like finding new products.
  6. My name is not on the list anymore can you update the list Steve so we all know what is going on.
  7. Mark im glad you are happy, i always hate recommending places in case something goes wrong but I dont know anyone i have sent there that is not happy. I think having chrome wheels in this country is a bad idea so i bet you will be so glad of the hours you will safe not having to keep them polished and protected. Great job, hope to see you soon.

Its never bothered me in the past, but i have never had anything as new and nice as a Zed before I have had mine painted twice. Some people like it now, some like it before, some dont like either. Its your car so do what you want and what you think will look good. search for cars in google painted in the colour you want and make a decision. There will always be people on here which wont like whatever you do and will not sugar coat their opions but you just have to ignore them and enjoy your car.
  9. Just looked into it and entries have to be made Friday so i think i will just go solo, but if anyone else is planning on going maybe we could meet up at some stage.
  10. Thanks for the headsup. I am interested but i also see a club application. Is this something we as a club want to attend or shall I go on my own?
  11. Evrything is painted apart from the bottom chrome part as this is needed to stay chrome else your main beam wont function properly. There is also one other part which sits behind the lens which needs to stay chrome.
  12. Whoops indeed, is this one case where we say its not a 350z is some sort of Porsche model lol
  13. Ok well as said its fairly easy and im sure you will find a guide somewhere but i found some pics so here is a rough guide from what i remeber of the top of my head. Tthere are 4 (i think it was 4) little screws which you need remove first. You can see in the pics below Then heat up with a hot air gun and pull apart from the top, when it gets near the end you will need to kinda twist as you pull apart. Be careful as it will be hot but its fairly rigid so you can be quite heavy handed. Try not to let the outer plastic get to hot and it will start to change shape. I use 2 old butter knife to help me prise apart. If you are just wanting to paint the internals and not fit halo or demon eyes then you only need to unscrew the top reflector from the housing and the rest is screwed to the headlight cover You can also replace the orange plastic strip at this stage if you can still find a supplier for the clear ones. Mkae sure you dont paint the bottom reflector as it is needed for the main beam headlight. You can also paint the lens housing but this requires some more dissaembly for which i dont have any pics but from memory is all fairly easy. Let me know if you need anything else.
  14. Which style lights do you have? the same as mine (old ones) or the facelift version?
  15. Yes they were fairly easy to open and all the inside just unscrew or unclip. i had my bodyshop prepare and paint the internals but all was fairly straight forward. I do have problems with condensation on my passenger side so i would suggest you find a way to test the seal before installing back onto your car.
  16. Ive painted the insides of mine so let me know if you need any help/advice You may find like me that they dont fit in your overn as they are pretty long. I used a Hot Air Gun and it gave good results.
  17. Yes im alive, just been super busy, i hope to see you all again very soon.
  18. Im from Bedford itself so if you need anything or i can help with anything just drop me a pm as im not on the forums much these days.
  19. Im coming to this but not sure if i will be on the club stand yet or a different one. I have paid for a ticket anyway, can you add me to the list.
