  1. Shhhh Mark dont talk prices you make me remember how much money ive sepnt over the years lol But yes you are as always correct, I replied to his pm before I saw this thread.
  2. Love this photo of my car, thanks. Any chance you can upload the original edited file to photobucket for me?
  3. Post in this thread there should be a few knocking around http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/77756-japfest-castle-combe-10th-may-2014-updated/
  4. Yeah Keith and the wheel genie guys do a fantastic job, I cant rate them enough, I need to take a trip there and get them to sort out some wheel damage but it will have to wait till later in the year.
  5. Thanks guys, its taking time to get used to the new wrap changes but i am very happy with the results, so many people thought it was paint which is good.
  6. Mine is just painted but was very meticulous about which bits were painted what colour. I think it really works well with the rest of my car and often get some great comments on it.
  7. Yeah thats a good shout and something I have considered. If I cant find out somewhere to get it done properly I will have to go down the bodge route. How long lasting will nail varnish be I wonder.
  8. Bit of a long shot but im fed up of trawling the internet and coming up with nothing. My Veilside badge has lost a bit of the enamel inlay so I need to find someone who can re-do this as I cannot get hold of another badge for love nor money. I have spoke to several companies that make custom enamel badges and it seems they are all done out of house in the far east and would only be able to make me one from scratch which would require costly setup costs. I was told my best option was to find someone who made custom enamel jeweler as they would probably have the equipment for such a small task but that is proving as difficult to find. Seeing as we have such a wide spread community on here i thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone has any ideas. Any suggestions?
  9. I dont know what pressure mine are set too as they were perfect for the car out of the box but then I guess you get what you pay for. As previous experience with gas struts for my bonnet I know that you can get replacements that are over gassed and have a small nipple on them to allow you to release some gas to get them to the perfect pressure. I used this company for my bonnet ones http://www.gasstrutengineering.co.uk/ which luckily is just down the road from me. Not sure its gonna be much use for you being in Scotland but they may be able to help.
  10. About Time is the best film ive seen recently. Its a bit of a rom com but the story is amazing and the acting is brilliant considering the main character is a unknown. Definatley one to watch with the wives and girlfriends. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2194499/?ref_=nv_sr_1
  11. I wouldn't say its a very meaty sound but it does rev nice. As I said there is a video of a few of us pulling out of country cooks, I hope someone can find it.
  12. Last time i had the exhaust off their was a little surface rust but nothing that didnt come off with a bit of elbow grease. There is a video of me leaving Country Cooks Wales 2013 if you wanted to hear what it sounds like but i cant for the life of me find it. Im sure someone can find it tho.
  13. Its the same exhaust that I have. They seem good quality as its been on my car for over 4 years without a problem. I quite like the tone of it as its good under load but quiet when cruising.
  14. Oh dear................... ammo Oi you! I'll pick you up and hang you upside down! Id love to see that make sure someone gets a photo of it for us that sadly wont be there.
  15. Yes was gutted when Graham told me the dates. I will be going Lakez for the first time to make up for it
  16. Im am so sad that I will not be able to attend this year, Its my brother 50th Birthday so I will be celebrating it at his home in New York and Las Vegas. I hope you all have a great time and at least I cant kerb a wheel so I will let someone else do it this year :bounce:
  17. Did they remove the cigarette lighter for the HR, if they did I didnt know that.
  18. That's the alternative method I was thinking of as I've got a blank space next to my heated seats switches. How can I access the 12v power socket to feed off its power? You can get a 12v supply right behind the heater switches via the cigarette lighter socket.
  19. Have run Avast for years now and never a problem, and its free and pretty lightweight. Also I install AdBlock Plus on my browsers to keep them pesky ads at bay.
  20. As i stated i dont want to cause a argument just voicing my opinion based on the last few years. Organisation on the day is fine, everyone is informed to speak to Marco who sorts it all out and fitting all the cars in the spaces and this is done well. Those photos are slightly misleading as we have 2 areas allocated to us and Marco fills up the first area then the second. When i arrived last year the front of the first section was already filled with various cars from the z club and i was instructed to park under a tree at the back of this section, I express my dissatisfaction to Marco at the time but was met with little room for compromise. I shall not park under a tree this year as i was battling with blossom off the tree the whole show as my car remains open to the elements for most of the time. Imo it makes no sense to put cars that want track time at the front purely to make it easier to get them out as there are wooden pillars along the front of the first section and it makes it just as hard to wiggle the cars around to get them out. They are probably better parked to the right hand side where there is a easy way to get out through a gap in the posts. I know it is hard for you to visualise the situation as it is a event that you have not been too for the last few years, all im asking is that Marco has a think about how to organise the stand as best to suit people from both clubs. We might not get the same areas this year so we will have to wait and see what happens.
  21. Can you stick me down on the list please Steve, ill sort payment out soon. I would also like to raise a issue and hope it doesn't spiral into a argument but the last 2 years some of us 350z owners have been very disappointed with the layout of the stand. It seems that a lot of the Z club members must pitch tents there the night before as by the time I get there (which last year was fairly early) the whole front of the stand is filled with z club owners and all the 350's have to park at the back. Can we try to do something to change this as its very disappointing for some of us having full show standard cars parked at the back of the stand under a damn tree. It may seem a little selfish and I will put my flame suit on after this post but I go mainly to show my car and represent the club.
