  1. I need that for the road outside my place! If you go for it let us know what it's like!
  2. First job today was to shorten and shape the legs that go into the OEM mounts Got to use one of my Christmas presents as well Got the mounts off set to move the seats closer to the middle so they clear the door Bolts welded into the other seat runners Next problem was the OEM rear clip, it is to high so the seat can rock an inch up before it engages So I cut it down and re welded it Drivers side seat sorted The previous owner had welded a plate in presumably for his bucket seats but it was in the way so I could not fit the OEM passenger side seat clip so I had to cut it out. As you can see it did a bit of damage so I'll weld that up next time and get the passenger seat finished. Stay tuned for the next exciting episode ......................

  7. good luck with the hunt - plenty to choose from
  8. Don't see it being the button's on the side, I haven't looked at a 350z setup but usually the horn wire in the steering wheel simply creates an earth for the horns. Sometimes there is a plate and a contact ring above it pressing the horn lets the 2 plates touch. Have you got a volt meter? I assume the horn worked on the old wheel so you should be able to see if a second wire needs connecting. Sorry can't be much help as I haven't taken one apart.

I can tel you that Stillen fit with no issues - but the heat shield does not fit back on, if/when my engine is next out I will add a shield over the fuel lines - I have swapped to braided lines and it's more an issue for Turbos due to more zorst heat. I also went for ceramic coated.
  10. Hello again Apart from Busters bumper and a few other things as well, one of the reasons I've not updated this thread is because I was waiting for my daughter to get her Christmas present so I could do the last bit of fabrication. Her present (there are 2) - A mate has recently bought some bucket seats for his 200 and they came out of a Mini so he gave me the mounts, so I'm gonna try them to see if they fit OK if not I'll make my own. First job was to put some bolts into the runners But they rub so I ground 2 sides down The boss cleaned up some old angle Iron I had laying around Then I slipped Tack welded in place My first thought is they sit to high and although they are where the standard mounts go I'm thinking of moving them back as there are no rear seats to worry about. I'll compare them to a stock seat and see how I feel - may be some custom mounts made up tomorrow. Stay tuned for the next exciting episode ...............................
