    My Black Widow

Best colour, nice car, personally would take the GT badge off...
  4. Wasso has a standard back box (oooh errr!) coupled with aftermarket cats and mid pipe, and sounds absolutely stunning. If the back box is in good nick, probably no need to change it.
  5. I have an 8 month old baby...here are my 'findings' when it comes to cars 1. You wont be able to take baby out in the Zed, even if you deactivate the airbag etc, a small baby sat in the front is in much more danger in an accident than being in the back. 2. An estate car is NOT necessary. We have been using a mk1 focus and storage space is more than adequate. 3. A friend of mine got a mercedes estate for her little 'un, she is now desperately trying to get shot of it as its too big for what she needs and wants a hatchback 4. Check what buggy you are planning on getting before buying a saloon car. They fold up in different ways, some fold into a long thin shape, some fold flat, the ones that fold flat will take up a lot of room in the saloon boot as they will need to be flat on the bottom of the boot whereas in the hatchback you can have them up on their sides. The better buggies fold flat. 5. You will become the worlds safest driver when you have the little 'un in the car with you so power means nothing. 6. Buy sun visors for the back windows.
  6. What about the APR option Chris? that works literally as an undertray as well as a front splitter and is carbon fibre
  7. Been totally off the ball for a while now though

  9. I got a fully constructed 5 drawer chest of drawers in the back of the Focus...with the seats down most hatchbacks are good for fitting stuff in. You just dont need huge boot space all the time.
  10. Haha I liked what you did there on my last post
  11. What have you done. The whole site will now be 'tinkered' with over the coming months, standard parts of the site will be replaced by expensive bits ordered in from the US, black will turn to blue, white will turn to silver and before you know it forumitis had infected everyone!
  12. Or a Skoda! Again out of the VW stable like the Seat, so decent build quality, decent engines etc, an Octavia VRS is bigger than a Cupra but still pretty quick. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201141421842245
  13. Hmmm not sure, you need to mount it to the current holes where the undertray is attached and it protrudes directly forwards from there. Might want to check with Chris on that. Or maybe contact Stillen, they are very helpful fellas over there.
  14. Seat Leon Cupra, everything the Audi is but more for you money. 240bhp and a few hundred quid remap would see it go up to circa 290bhp, 5 door, modern styling, interior is a bit bland though. Something like this maybe? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201241488226383
  15. I would go with your original idea, stick a few quid aside and have some fun. The great thing about the Zed is that although exhausts and the like are quite expensive, there is lots you can do otherwise in the meantime, the standard exhaust isnt that bad in any case. I put together my own engine bay bolt set off ebay for £25 (although I ended up getting a full set off Tarmac), stubby aerial, buy some vinyl wrap and have a go at a few bits on the interior like the door grabs, centre console, rear strut brace (as suggested above) etc. Gear knob is pretty cheap and I would really recommend changing the handbrake for something a bit chunkier it will make a big difference to the look and feel when driving. I also found that refurbing the leather seats makes a BIG difference to the interior, there is a trader on here (4RE I think hes called) who can provide some leather treatment stuff to bring the seats back up to standard. Maybe some new foot well mats? One of the most fun things I did was buy some wet n dry, some primer and some red paint and have a go at the plastic bits in the engine bay, total cost about £20 and makes a massive visual difference. Hope thats given you some ideas. Exhausts and the like are great but you already have a fairly competent one, unless its rotting away which some do...unless you got a decent budget have fun with some of the small stuff in the meantime
  16. Well worth the wait and very impressed, big pats on backs to all involved
  17. Not my Zed anymore but love the photos anyway
  18. What Dannyboy said they have to justify the cost of £100, so do not pay £100. You have a pretty legitimate case that although you parked without paying it was not at a cost of £100 to the private land owner and any court will realise you made reasonable attempts to pay the charge and when you couldnt you legitimately left. Have a browse here, http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/private-parking-tickets it shows you the rules for charges on private car parks, they are not fines, they are meant to be charges to reclaim the money you owe, which is not £100 and not anywhere near that amount.
  19. Careful with the Spyder products, they are US made, I enquired before and apparently the beam direction cannot be adjusted (as they are built for driving on the right hand side of the road in the US) so once you get them on your Zed they will be pointed in the wrong direction.
  20. no problem attached...I also added the side steps as well which complemented it nicely
  21. Anyone want these cats? Will take £50 collected.
  22. I bought one of these, and they look stunning on the front, also a bonus that they are not lower the clearance on the front either like a lip might so speed bump problems avoided also. You need to drill the holes in the splitter, the trick I found was to take off the plastic deflector thing which is already attached under the front of zed and use that as a template to mark the drill points on the splitter oh and put the metal struts on as well even though its apparently optional, they work well at keeping it straight and taught.
  23. Zed will look MILES better with the grille, its not hard, just cut the slats off
