  1. Good work fella, no point hurling money at a knackered car when you can buy something pretty much ready to go anyway...paint repairs are no biggie compared to engine rebuilds or the like!
  2. Can only echo the above, a full on great effort!

The clock is ridiculously simple to colour-change, mate! I thought I read somewhere that its difficult to open up, or you talking about a sweet wrapper stuck over the front

A new ticket on the car today, no advisories also tester found what the rattling at the back was, a slightly loose inner arch liner on the back of the car, finally got rid of that annoying rattle that sometimes would intrude the cabin Also did a few other little jobs, changed the oil with another 4 litres of Millers, cleaned up the clutch cable/pedal to stop a squeak that was developing, happy days.
  5. Restick the oil cap label with Nismo the right way up please my OCD can't handle that
  6. Have a general ache on the inside of my knee for a few weeks, went to docs, put me into an MRI following week, docs ring today to tell me to pop in for a chat as the report reads 'ligament damage' - like leave me hanging! I am walking around fine, just a dull pain every now and again on the knee...NC500 coming up, hope its not bad news!
  7. But bear in mind that even buying from a dealer you still have to jump through many hoops if they dont play ball dealing with any complaint you have - J17 are likely to make life hell if you dare go back with a complaint about the car...
  8. Apparently they are. Quote went something along the line of "we are aware of this nasty forum" Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk "All those idiots on there that know nothing about Zeds whereas we are the experts"
  9. Use of the search button on the forum in the top right corner will turn up enough comments about them.
  10. Had an old American guy say "nice Ferrari" when I was outside polishing my red VX220 once Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Can't quite get my head around this...a car with 75k miles on it now, would I think by default be worth more than the identical car a year ago with the same mileage? As its a year older, with same miles, people pay more for lower mileage cars vs age so isn't that the reason the price is higher more than appreciation? I would agree with JP that prices haven't really budged in terms of what people are buying them up at? Be interesting to see what prices come back on a basic Ford Focus 1.8 2004 just as an example...
  14. It should be quite literally the best condition mechanically Zed in the universe! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Somewhat ironically politics and economics very rarely mix well together
  16. Its a fair point, although who is to say they would have won if they hadn't put the referendum into the manifesto? It certainly may have been enough to push some of those marginal seats into UKIP and Labour hands.
  17. I am pretty sure someone was prosecuted for this about 3 months ago?
  18. Not sure how this has made it to page 4 when you got all the advice you needed on page 1. Reject it, send it back, swallow the cost of delivery (not sure why this is such an issue when you are splashing money on getting it checked?) and get your money back a much wiser buyer in future. They legally cannot refuse to refund you by law if the car is not fit for purpose. Been a few thread on here lately like this where the buyers have successfully sent it back. It sounds to me more like you just want to keep the car because its got a kit on it and its a GT4 but want them to repair it, which is a bigger ask in my opinion (given that it literally involves more effort even though it sits under the same part of the CRA). The front bumper I would say is not Nismo unless it is stamped as such also pretty sure 99% of replicas do not have the headlight washers cut out which yours is missing?
  19. Pretty sure on one of the videos you can see it dropping out the sky behind the trees on the left, you only glimpse it but clearly something with a fiery tail. Pretty spectacular all the same.
  20. Not tried HD but at the moment using Victoria Concours wax and it is fantastic. I used to use Dodo Supernatural but VC certainly outdoes it for deepness of shine and durability.
  21. Presume you have had a good read on detailingworld? http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=291737 Sounds like a great bit of kit, something I might try when my current wax of choice runs out - although what I use currently is fantastic and will take some beating in that price range!
  22. I think you are right, I think the UK will vote to leave the EU. Just a note though, voting to leave the EU is not the same as voting for independence - leaving the EU is not independence.
  23. My parents gave away all my Star Wars stuff in the loft about ten years ago, AT AT walkers, Millennium Falcon the lot...probably cost me a few grand! PS, if you want to run a fun competition at InCarNation happy to give this as a prize in case some Zed owner doesn't have it
  24. Thats effectively the punt you have to take if you want to leave in very simple terms, do these 27 countries need us more than we need them. If not, then we are in a bit of a pickle. Or they think oh well we can get what we need from other suppliers who operate within the EU and do not need to export so heavily to the UK then we find ourselves in a very lonely place. As mentioned before, it all comes back to the trade agreements, these dictate the 'independence' we want in terms of making policy decisions and ultimately what money ends up going on goods vs in your pockets.
