How are companies like Richer Sounds fairing? From what I see they seem to be still doing really well against all the online retailers as they happily price match. I use them for no end of things as if im forking out 900quid on an amp or something, I want somewhere where I can walk in and take it back if theres any problems. I thought HMV went down the pan ages ago as they shut loads of their stores, along with Zavvi and Virgin Mega Stores etc... but it looks like they may have just massively scaled their operations back as you still see the odd HMV here & there.

I didnt start smoking until quite late in life, so I feel sorry for people who have spoked all their life and dont realise how much energy they zap. I found smoking was all about habit or boredom. Plus the social side of it - all my mates smoked when we used to go out for a pint. So as ddcboyle said, its about working out when you smoke and changing that. Like having a fag after every meal... or as soon as you get stuck in traffic lighting up. Or, if your driving to work, getting a quick one in before you get in the office. Got a stressful conference call coming up - better get a quick fag in. Or, relaxing with a pint, spark one up straight away. Advert break on the telly? Thats time for a quick fag etc... I found switching to roll ups helped as id smoke less and it was cheaper. And roll up tobacco seemed a lot milder than the marlboro I was on, so it moved the addiction away from needing that harsh hit to a more smoother nicotine hit. I then cut down on how many I was smoking, and started using the nicotine lozenges to get that hit if i needed one. The graving were quite strong, but the lozenges would stop that. Also, started getting back into more exercise and working out so you feel better, and stopping drinking beer. So I removed all the associations and broke the habits. I also ditched my ex who was a smoker, so that helped.

I used to do a lot of bodybuilding for many years, so have tried or know about most diets & ways of working out. In fact all my friends used to always ask me my advice every time i saw them as they see me as a bit of an expert! The biggest problem I see with people is trying to keep that motivation up and finding an exercise they like. Personally I love running and love pushing myself as hard as I can with weights. But most people I speak to are after easy workouts and dont like working up a sweat. If you dont fancy running atm, get a cross trainer or something you can stick in a spare room in front of a tv. You can easily stick on a TV show and watch it whilst your on the cross trainer. Bit like listening to music when your running - you`ll find the time will fly by, and you find yourself looking forward to the next workout simply because you want to see the next episode of whatever show you are watching. Smoking zaps your energy big time. If you give them up you`ll find you have loads more energy. I found when I gave up smoking id get short tempered and angry - ideal for working out with some weights or doing some exercise to blow off that steam. Working out first thing in the morning on an empty stomach I find is best for me to burn the fat off. I get up at 6.30, that gives me about an hour to workout & have a shower before getting breakfast, packing lunch then driving to work for 9. Another thing you need to do is to set a target. A good target for me is holidays. So if I have a nice beach holiday booked say for June, I know now ive got 6 months. If I need to loose 24lb then thats only 1lb a week until then. See, sounds better like that. The calorie counter programs are good. I use one called "myfitnesspal" which is awesome. You just scan the barcode of whatever you eat and it knows how many calories it all is. That way you can keep to your correct daily amount. Id aim for 1800 calories a day initially, you can always adjust it. Do you like cooking? Workout a meal plan for the week. Maybe turkey stirfry one day, nice beef stew another, chicken & rice another day etc.. Try some new receipes. If you have a meal plan you know what you are going to eat so you are less likely to start looking through the fridge for snacks. Have 1 day a week where you can "treat" yourself to a cheat meal. Maybe a pizza, or a curry. That way you`ll find yourself looking forward to that day. You will find that after you eat it you will feel guilty and then have extra motivation for rest of the week. Id also weigh & measure myself once a week. Some weeks you`ll find you loose a lot, other weeks the scales show the same (or a gain) which may demotivate you. This is where measuring yourself is important as whilst you may have stayed the same weight, you may well have lost like 2 inches off your stomach! So, that will still help motivate you and prove that your body is changing and you are loosing the fat. DO NOT fall in the trap of jumping on the scales every day like some people do, as your body naturally goes up & down in weight over a week. And if you see the scales going up it will demotivate you. Also, keep to the same time each week. I usually weigh myself first thing in the morning as your body "looses" about 4 or 5lb over night whilst you sleep! If you fancy doing weights you can use them to help motivate yourself further. Try increasing the weights each time. If you manage an extra rep or slightly more weight one day then that will help motivate you and feel good. Loads of forums and workouts out there - id stick to a simple basic program which hits all the main muscle groups. Once you start making progress - like you have done - you`ll find the motivation increases and you`ll start to feel good! Final thing id say is whilst you are motivated its tempting to push yourself too hard and you end up injuring yourself - then you end up setting yourself back and getting demotivated again! Good luck!

Yep, the 350 actually had a guide inside the boot on how to fit golf clubs into the boot! I never tried it myself, but i think it would have been a tight squeeze. Id expect the 370 to be similar.

You dont get much gains on an HR without spending a lot of money. Different air filters dont make any difference at all. Adding a cat back system gives you nothing. If you go for a full decat & system, then a remap you might get a few extra HP, but you end up spending a lot. The reason being is that Nissan basically took the older engine and did everything they could do to get every last extra bhp out of it. Including modifying the water ways to improve cooling, adding duel intakes & ram air etc. etc. Thats why its got 309bhp compared to the older engines which had 276bhp. Best thing to do is to speak to one of the tuners who have done work on the HR cars and see what gains they typically see.

These are what I use.

Berlin is on the wifes list of places to go. We went to Dusseldorf just before Christmas and that was a cracking place - the beer & sausages in germany are excellent.
-
Im now thinking of getting one of these myself just to cover the wifes car & driveway in foam, then wake her up and pretend its been snowing!

Ive got to show my missus that pic and suggest maybe we do the same to her juke to see what she says!

What the other guys said, check in the manual and it will show you where they are. I use a trolley jack for mine. Used to take the wheels off and give them a good clean inside & out once a month.

When i first got my zed I had problems similar to this from the specialist insurers I called up. They wanted at least a years experience of me driving high performance RWD cars. They didnt refuse to insure me, but gave me a ridiculous quotation. The fact i was 40, had 20 years NCB on my car, have 15 years NCB on my R1 motorbike and a 220bhp track car and had previously owned numerous "hot hatches" all made no difference at all. I just shopped around and eventually found someone else offering cheaper.

Its all personal preference. The 370z is dropping in price now so more affordable. I personally preferred my 313 to the 370z both in looks and the driving experience. If you can afford a 370z id be tempted to get some test drives in both and see which you prefer.

The M3 are legends across the board but for a real ledge you just have to have owned a Renault GTT ! I've owned three and all were a pain in the arse to keep going but when they decide to work they are great to drive and a lot of fun, you can keep your golf GTI and ya Pug 205 GTI, R5 GTT was the best hot hatch of all times and anyone who disagrees has lots of nonsense to speak out of their bum and curly hair such as Clarkson Ive still got my GTT.... had it for about 15 years now. Like you, ive had 3 of them. I know them inside out, so i used to fix all the common problems - like people running them with knackered radiators causing the heads to warp etc.. tune them up and sell them on. I got a bit carried away with mine.. running hybrid turbo, racing clutch, gas flowed / ported head, carb & manifolds, adjustable suspension, uprated brakes, stripped out interior, full 6 point roll cage just to mention a few bits. Has about 220bhp and back when I used to use it as a daily car i never once found anything on the road which was quicker than it in 2nd & 3rd gear. Ive had it off the road for a good few years now as it ended up not being the best car for commuting after all my mods. I also had a Peugeot 205 Gti 1.9 for a while, a 309 Gti, Clio 16v and an Escort RS2000. But none of them had the handling or kick in the pants of the 5 turbo.

Ive got a ZX81 complete with wobbly 16k ram pack up my loft and nearly every version of the ZX Spectrum they did except for the +3.

I used to love Time Crisis on my PS1 used to play that all the time with the light gun. In fact the only time I ever played the actual real Time Crisis arcade machine was one night when I popped into a kebab shop after a night out on the town - ordered a kebab then spotted a Time Crisis arcade machine in the corner and thought id have a "quick go". The kebab ended up getting cold as I nearly completed the game with the rest of the kebab shop watching over my shoulder!

Used to play the wii & various shooting / car games on my media pc after ditching the ex. Unfortunately another bird came along and I havent really played computer games since I met her 4 years ago.... until last weekend when I decided to try out Black Ops 2. At least now i have something to do whilst she sits there watching Glee! Used to love the call of duty games and need for speed games.

From reading that im pleased i never had to do that to my roadster!

3 engines VQ35DE - 2003-2006. 276 bhp VQ35DE (rev-up) - 2006. 296 bhp VQ35HR - 2007-2009. 313bhp (easily recognisable as it has twin intakes) Pre March 06 cars fit into lower tax bracket. The HR is actually 309bhp rather than 313bhp. I think the 313 bit is 313hp. Loads of threads on here about the 313 and the difference between it and the older cars is night & day. It has a built in ram air system so you get more power at speed, 7500rpm rev limit, as well as loads of other modifications nissan did over the earlier cars. 80% of the engine is new, and they also did other mods like dropping the engine lower in the chasis to improve handling, and suspension mods etc... However, as they were only around from mid 2007 until the 370z came out (same engine as the 313 but slightly bigger capacity) they are more expensive than the cheaper early 276bhp zeds. So, some people prefer to buy an older zed and mod it to bring it up to 300bhp.

Be careful with the multi car. Admiral kept on at me for months to try and get me to go with their multicar. In the end after many quotes and me repeatedly telling them it would be cheaper for me to insure both of my cars with seperate companies they managed to offer me insurance on my 2nd car for 20quid less. However, the clincher was that if come renewal time, I happened to price check and find another cheaper quote, they would immediately charge me a get out fee for coming out of a multi car policy and jack the price of my main car up. So, it means they have you over a barrel. So, i decided to save money & insure both cars seperately.

I sold my minter 07 plate 313 Roadster with every optional extra ticked for 9k last year in the "peak" of summer. It was either take the trade in price the garage offered me or risk having it sit around for 6 months. Having seen local garages not being able to give away RX8`s and similar gas guzzlers I didnt fancy my chances much. Annoying thing is though, when I bought the 350z garages wouldnt drop their for sale prices by a penny even - dispite it apparently being a "buyers" market.

Welcome but i think you`ll find the clio a lot cheaper to run than a 350z!

Unless things have changed the MOT doesnt check emission on a diesel so you can just replace the dpf with a bit of pipe.

Welcome! I used to have an E36 328i coupe as a company car back in about 1999. I remember looking at buying an E36 M3 Evolution shortly afterwards. I remember the car was up for £26k on a bmw forecourt and the insurance company wanted 3 grand or something ridiculous to insure it, so I didnt bother and stuck to my ZXR750L2 & Renault 5 GT Turbo for kicks! There are a few white 350z`s, i think mainly the later ones as prior to that white wasnt a fashionable colour.

Im still not convinced about 3G streaming though. Lad at work streams music to his iphone 4s via last.fm and rakes up over 1.2gb every month just through listening to music on his walk to work & back. Seems to use bandwidth just for the sake of it. Ive got a 32gb card in my galaxy s3 along with its normal 16gb storage, so that gives me nearly 50gb of storage. I can keep plenty of music on there for day to day listening and thats why im only paying £6.99 a month on my orange tarriff. Did get 4G however the other week whilst I was in london. 20meg download on a mobile was a novelty!

Normally with alezan orange you had the orange gear knob on the manual & the handbrake cover was also orange. On some early cars the bottom half of the steering wheel was also orange.
