I looked at a mint 57 313 with all the extras at a garage last week, 2 owners and 18k on the clock, but it was in the dark blue colour which to me didnt really show the car off as much as any of the other colours do. That was up for £14750. Also saw a few older 300bhp ones with 50k miles ish and they were up for 12k at garages.

Did they also remove the power restriction limits on the first 3 gears? If so, whats it like under acceleration with those removed?

I just asked my nissan garage the exact same question and they said as long as it was serviced by a garage which used genuine Nissan parts then that would not invalidate the warrenty. As the guy above says... whether or not they honor that, especially in the case of a big warrenty payout you`d have to wait and see.

Ive had the opposite reaction from people I know. Initially I was looking at M3`s but everyone who i mentioned that too told me they were chav barry boy cars. Everyone I knows loves the 350z.

This sort of thing disgusts me. Thing, is if they actually caught who did it they would get a small fine and banned from keeping pets and thats it. They should be treated the same as they treated the animal.

Depends on the MOT inspector also. This last year was the first year ive ever had to buy a full sized correctly spaced numberplate for any of my bikes in order for it to pass an MOT. Although, i think in general car mot inspectors tend to be much more thorough and less "understanding" than bike testers.

Im picking up mine on Saturday and so this last few weeks ive been keeping an eye out to see how many 350z`s i see on the roads and I havent seen a single one! Where are they all? I can see loads on autotrader, and one garage I visited had 4 of them sitting on his forecourt! But, on the roads they seem rare as hens teeth. Is it cos they are not ideal for a daily runner? Or fuel prices? Or maybe just everyone in my area is boring?!!!

Not always as easy as that. Last year I parked my car in a carpark - no cars anywhere near it. Came out later and found someone had scraped all the back 1/4 panel near the passengerside rear wheel. Blue paint and massive scrape so they must have known they had hit it. No witnesses, no note under my window screen or anything. Right pain when it happens.

Excellent news. Im getting 12 months nissan warrenty with my used 350z, so its good to know they actually honour it!

its all luck of the draw really as to how the copper feels. My mate has driven around for the last 10 years with no front number plate and a mis-spaced rear numberplate on his car and has never been pulled once. As a biker ive always had undersized and mis spaced plates on my bikes, and only got pulled once. But in all fairness I was taking the mick that day as the plate I had on was litterally 1inch x 4 inches in size.... Also, good luck at the auction... i waited years for a plate I wanted to come up once and it ended up making about 20k!!!

I was puzzled by the same thing, i assumed the z350 313 model was 313bhp, but its not, apparently its only 309bhp. And just because the car is 2007 onwards doenst mean its automatically the 313 model. Some had the older engine in. I saw a 57 plate one which was not the 313. One easy way to tell is that the bonnet has a big bulge in it if its the 313 model.

Hi, Thought id say hello to everyone as im sure i`ll be on here a lot having just bought a 07 plate z350 roadster. Its in grey with the orange leather interior. Has the GT pack, Rays wheels and satnav. Seems to have low mileage for the year at 23k miles, but apparently it used to be one of the press cars Nissan used to send out to people to review.... I found this out from checking the history and found out the first number plate was L**UST, which Nissan appear to put on their press cars, I also found out Nissan was its first owner for the first year. Anyway, it was a good price, has full history and comes with 12 months Nissan warrenty - so if it breaks its going straight back! I pick it up Saturday. Looking forward to learning more about the cars and meeting some of you. Im already reading as much as I can on the forums as none of my cars remains standard for long, so i`ll be modding it and tweaking it over the next few months I expect! Cheers Jack.

tough one really. From looking at cars myself, id be tempted to take the money. You could hold on and maybe be lucky and get more, but in my experience it never comes and you end up having to sell for a lot less than you were originally offered months down the line. Thats happened twice with me now on cars and I wished id taken the first offer.

I had a similar thing to this on one of my motorbikes - i hit into a curb and it bent the front wheel just like this. I took it to a local place and they heated the alloy up and bent it back.... did a pefect job of it and 20,000 miles later still no problems. With the OP`s cracked alloy, I think the only choice if you cant get a replacement is to get a whole new set - then keep an eye out on ebay to see if anyone ever sells a single alloy the same as the old one!

He`s a legend, but sounds like he`s lost the plot a little... either that or he`s a genius!
