Just noticed I haven't posted on this yet Car looks great Net, good to see it earlier today getting some more mods from Bob - the new sound system is almost as loud as your exhaust -

Thanks Dave Oh, the bulbs have almost arrived BTW.....they were a few pence short on postage, so the Post Office would like £3 for the privilege of re-delivering them to me. Luckily they are being sent to work and might have snuck their way onto the Corp Account, so the £3 can be found 'elsewhere' -
Those photos are VERY cool!! Myself and some colleagues are into Urbexing. Locally we have a few cool places we have been to - best one so far is the old MOD Cordite Factory - LOTS of building foundations/tunnels used for chemical storage, and the laboratories. very cool place to wander around even if a little scary at times. We go more for the photography side of things - great place....the paint in most of the buildings is literally peeling itself off the walls. Need to go back again.

Thanks matey I am really pleased with them. Had a call from the garage this morning - the car is ready exhaust is now all sealed up and running sweet. Although the garage struggled to alter the Ti exhaust, so ended up having to 'customise' the NEW Cobra Y-pipe slightly to get a full seal on the flange. A little annoyed as the stainless bits were perfect fit, but at least it is all done, and sounds really nice Will try and get a video up, but really starting to get stressed out with the pending Europe trip and the world of stuff I still have to sort out.....we leave a week tomorrow! -
Always loved these! Nice work

Pic request Kuro zed with smoked front indicators
mattross1313 replied to jollyranchers's topic in Styling
Took me leas than 2 hours on my drive way - and i am not the best with tools! there are guides around the internet to remove bumpers. It's a bit of a fiddly job but can be done without removing the whole bumper, just half at a time. No pics of smoked though sorry, I opted for crystal. -

Quick update after a few hours on the driveway last night - I managed to fit the clear front reflectors. The stock orange ones were pretty ugly to start with.....but mine were also covered in blue paint from the really bad respray. Didn't take me too long, and this is the first time I have messed around with removing bumpers etc so was quite pleased I managed it all. Pics as normal... Also, with the road trip looming ever closer I still need to sort a few things on the car. First up is the blow in the exhaust - taking it to a local jap garage tonight and they are going to try and bend / heat the exhaust back into alignment. Fingers crossed this works!! Matt -
Ooooooh 458's! Dream car Our hotel is just outside the marina etc, but we plan to have an early night after two loooong days through France, but get up EARLY to drive as much of the track as possible!

First member to try this for you get a good deal in exchange for pics Mitz? I am after a set soon (ish)

Well timed thread. I will keep an eye on this for comments too We leve for our Europe trip in a little under 2 weeks.....starting to sink in now and still lots to plan, do and fit to the Zed. We are doing a similar ish route - down through france to monaco, via the Route Napoleon. Over to Italy to stay in the famimly house where my grandad grew up then on the home leg we will take in the Ferarri Factory/museum, venice, Lake Garda, Stelvio Pass Looking at your map there are two things you pass VERY near to and should be a worthwhile detour (or alteast they better be as we are doing them). 1. Near Modena is the Ferrari factory, museum and test track we have booked the full tour for around £50 2. As you leave Monaco heading to Italy, head north and drive the Col De Turini For places to stay I cant really help as we are camping most of the trip. Got a good deal on a Novotel in Monaco though - €125 Matt

The Ginger Ninja Build Thread....SOLD 3/10/15

Looks good Bob - glad you got it back together without my masses of help haha Arran, its pretty straight forward to pop out, just need to take your time so you dont break off any of the small poppers as normal. -
Looking good matey. From what i've read the rear camber arms, which you have discovered are around £200 up. I have a set of Eibachs from CS, just under £200 IIRC. Fronts are available but are usually double the price of the rears! Check with Cougar Store again, I'm new to all this but i have read that if you are only going around 30mm drop you MIGHT not need to buy front camber arms, just rear? Matt

Hey Marty, not sure if Keyser has one on the car he's breaking?

And only the other day Steve were we saying how black and chrome would be a great theme for your engine......aaah g'wan!!

Lady in red would be nice! Or any lady tbh Buster will be heartbroken!

Good thread this!!

I'm a big fan of mashups, usually just 2-3 songs, but this is VERY well done enjoyed that.

Ill drop you a PM now mate with a link to the album jo3ly sent to me. Pics of the wheels being prepped, and fitted to his car. This will give you an idea of the stretch etc etc.
-
I prefer the pic where the diffuser around the exhausts in body colour. All black looks a bit too 'gapey' for me.
-
I researched this too and spoke to a member called jo3ly who had them fitted to his Zed for some time. I believe you are correct with your slim tyre sizes as any bigger will cause them to rub! Drop him a PM, he was always happy to speak with me and answer questions. The only reason i am not going ahead with this is the amount of tyre stretch scared me a little and i enjoy country roads etc, would be a worry with these rims, look awesome though!!

Not any more he doesn't

Went out last night with the better half (& her Evo) and another member from our local car club. Took a lot of photos, but quite pleased with how a few of them turned out

Had a nice chap round to day from the AA to come and replace my cracked windscreen. Whilst he was at it I fitted some Bosch aero wipers too, another thing I wanted done before the road trip! Car looked very sorry for itself mid-way through the fitting. Oh and my exhaust seemed a lot louder today, put my hand under and the Ypipe - Midpipe join is blowing......half-a-job-Bob at the Zed Shed  No biggie as I don't need to use the car much, so can sort it out at my next Zed Booking.
