  1. I got up to 140 once and it felt fine and then I thought that was fast enough. Felt very stable. The Z always feels very stable at higher speeds (where permitted of course). As long as you don't try and make a sudden steering I out you'll be fine. As others have said good tyres help. If you're still on the OEM bridge stones then it's worthwhile changing them as they are so hard and give a bumpy ride and tram lining in anything other than temperatures above 20 degrees. They felt terrible in a straight line at 50 as winter temperatures started to come in. Had so many moments with them that I decided to get winter tyres and also switch to Michelin pilot super sports for summer. Best upgrade I did to the car, so much more stable and grip when you need it Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Zeetoyz sell an aluminium finisher: http://www.zeetoyz.com/shiftknobfinisher.htm I had one to go with my Nismo gear knob and it fitted perfectly and stopped the shift boot from moving up and down Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. DC Sports true dual with X pipe for the win. Loved that exhaust on mine. Not too loud at low revs, but comes alive when you put your foot down Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. I had this issue as well and it was a leaking slave cylinder that caused it. As others have said, replacement slave, braided line and new fluid will sort it out, certainly did for me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Found it to be the flywheel on mine when it was worn. Didn't make the rattle after it was replaced for at least 20k miles. Was then starting to come back a little but wasn't as bad as before the replacement Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I'll PM you with some pics and a price. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. I have one but it will need a respray. Currently blade silver but the paint isn't great. I'd be happy to give it to you for a nominal fee if you were to collect... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. I have LED rear lights to sell if you're interested Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. If you are ok with a second hand one I'll be putting my JWT pop charger and BMC CDA up for sale very soon. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I have some that I'm about to put up for sale if you are interested Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Could be the 5v standby power has failed either in the PSU or on the motherboard. This is required for the soft start switch that turns on the computer. I once had a motherboard that had this issue as some of the capacitors on the standby rail had failed preventing the switches from starting the PC. If you can find the pin out for the PSU you could check the 5v standby rail output with a multi meter or check the voltages on the power switch connector on the motherboard.
  12. Try replacing the bulbs. Worked for me. Apparently hids lose brightness with use and have a hour rating for the amount of time they are guaranteed to stay at a particular brightness. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk now Free
  13. I think this is the ABS system testing itself. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2

    RAYS Refurb

I had mine done in platinum silver on my GM zed and they look pretty good. The platinum silver is the same two coat process like shadow chrome but is a bit lighter and looks a bit like polished aluminum. Somewhere in between shadow chrome and hyper silver. Gives the wheels a nice depth of colour without being too dark.
  16. You can get an aluminium one from www.zeetoyz.com. I got one for my nismo gear knob and it fits great and looks much better
  17. I've been using Kumho KW27s for the last two winters on standard 18" alloys and they are great in snow and in low temps. Obviously in the dry when the temperature starts to rise they are a bit soft and the side walls flex a bit, but they have got me out of a lot of situations that would have been impossible on summer tyres.
  18. I have one. It's quite good, definitely louder and more fruity than standard, but not too crazy. Has a deeper sound at lower revs and blares quite nicely at high revs. Kind of a sports bike type of sound. Drones a little bit under load at about 2000rpm but not too bad. Had a fitment issue where the back box was a little lop sided and hung low on the off side but was fixed by bending the hangar a little bit. All in all a nice bit of kit.
  19. I have Kumho Izen KW27 on some standard OEM 18" wheels and they have been great over the last two winters. I drove in the snow several times and was even able to get up snow covered slopes. Even saved my bacon when I ended up on a road covered in black ice although it was still a very scary experience so would try to avoid it. Only real problem I have is finding somewhere to store the other set of wheels but apart from that well worth it as I would have probably had nasty accident by now running summer tyres over the winter.
  20. Definitely there for the alarm. If you try and lock the car with the bonnet or the boot not shut properly you'll hear a tone from inside the car. I think of you don't unlock and rectify the situation the alarm will go off
  21. I don't think there is a set mileage to change the gearbox and diff oil but if you've done 90k miles then it's worth doing. I would recommend getting the genuine nissan oils put in as they will produce the least amount of noise
  22. Well it could just be the gear box whining. What year is the car? I only say this as I have a 2004 car that had a quiet gearbox with no whining. Unfortunately a synchro went and I got a rebuilt 2006 box put in. This box whines a lot in comparison, but I was told this is normal and that all the bearings had been changed on the box. Box was rebuilt by Abbey Motorsport, so I trust them and its been fine with no issues. They did put in Motul gear 300 oil in the gear box which might cause some noise compared with genuine Nissan oil. ave you had the gear box oil changed recently?
  23. I had this as well at about 42k miles. I ended up getting a reconditioned gearbox put in at abbey motorsport when my clutch was due for a change. Been absolutely fine since
  24. I have an 04 350z in gunmetal with a DC Sports exhaust so you'll probably hear it even if you don't see it!
