So how is it i have been stopped a million times at petrol stations and been asked about the car? Or had people shout at me "nice car"? My experience, having owned BOTH cars, apart from a few guys at work, mostly asking how it compares to the 8, not one single comment from strangers. Since the OP has disregarded the R3, then nothing more needs to be said

3) I disagree with that, since I've had the Z it's had gord knows how many admiring looks, RX8's i've been in have never got so much as a glimmer. 4) The paint just doesn't look as nice as on the zed imo. One things for sure, the paint is just as thin as the 8 It's certainly not everyones cup of char, but the Z isn't a conversation starter, the 8 is, but mostly because of the rear doors. A R3 is reasonably inexpensive and half the cost to service. The 8 is a bit dated, but then the Merc and the older M3's are too. What about a Masarati Quatraporte Now that is a very cool car

A R3? Similar performance to the S2K, but 4 doors, 4 usable seats and a decent boot. The oil metering probs have been solved as well from the Mark 1. Also just as fast as the 350 on a track

My old Rex came with 040's as standard, not very hard wearing and a ballache when cold or in the wet, when I changed to 050A's it was like driving on smooth double cream, with performance thrown in The 370 comes with 050A's as standard, and it's all I know at the minute. Suffice to say the 370 is a much noisier drive than the 8 on the same tyres, albeit 19" as opposed to 18". It may just be a "feature" of the Z.
