Your lucky you got the correct amount most people end up buying a z with only one.
  2. I was not aware that it acted like a front arm mine moves up about an inch, plenty of room to slide it off, I thought this was the norm?
  3. Cheers just needed a little reassurance before making the first plunge
  4. How do you remove the aluminium trim attached to the front face of the passenger door handle? It looks like a prizing off job with a screwdriver etc but I don't want to c**k it up. Any help welcomed cheers
  5. Hi I'll take the passenger handle trim please, if not already gone. PM sent.
  6. Used them twice this year, once when respraying some body parts and the other with the touch up kit, you wont beat them. Colour is spot on excuse the pun. Remember its a two part piece, base colour and lacquer.
  7. I have a set that I never got round to using. £14 inc postage if you are after them Now sold
  8. There is only one company and this is it, especially if you want a touch up kit, they supply spears for touching up much more superior than a brush check them out.
  9. This is considered by many detailers to be one of the best if not the best guide in DA polishing, covers all the areas concerned. You can find it in a PDF version on detailing world. +1
  10. Pads have a different degree of "cut" i.e the larger the holes per sq mm the more severe the cut. So the normal practice is to start of on some thing least abrasive "soft pads" and compounds and work upwards. As stated best to chat to someone who preferably details for a living or has great experience in this field, alternatively Maguires, clean your car uk, etc etc have huge amount of info on them. Something that you rarely see is a good abrasiveness chart for compounds I have attached one that I think will be useful to any one new in this field. http://www.auto-geek.net/charts/wax-cut ... master.htm
  11. Now this would be a great photo shoot?
  12. Hi Steve I think you getting it now.
  13. Chips away have the wrong name, I spoke to them many years ago when they started up business and and they do not do "chips away", they should be done under the trades description act. I learnt then that if the chip or scratch fails in the nail test it needs a respray, if you want an invisible job doing, i.e. if you can feel it running your nail over the chip or scratch it needs a professional respray.
  14. Lincolnshire maybe 4 or 5, I go weeks without seeing one and we have a Nissan dealer selling them here.
  15. JWT pop chargers will lose a bit on BHP but give a little bit of grunt. However if you want to get a plenum spacer and a sport exhaust and then follow up with an uprev remap from Abbey down south, or RS up north this will give you the best result. One does not go without the other. Never forget that after a remap you should get better fuel consumption and the low gear restrictions are removed and torque increases are improved should be better overall?
  16. Welcome to the distinguished silver club
  17. I agree with the two previous comments, if I am understanding your drift correctly, you can also pop in to your local DVLA office to confirm this,I see there is one in Northampton. See direct link from DVLA below for info on Sorn, http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/Ow ... /DG_186696
  18. Hi I bet you've tried every gear now to their limits, I know I did. You smile will take ages to disappear, nice feeling though.
  19. Showing my age now, I watched it and it was never on BBC it was on ITV, before this show Roger Moore was in a program called Ivanhoe 1958-59. God I feel old now.
  20. Sound advice, but remember to have all your engine mods completed before a remap if you fancy it later.
  21. Nice write up I live just down the road from cadwell, one of the most under rated race tracks in Britain.
  22. Just seen this, you've made my day. Can stop laughing when I visualise it my own mind
