rav525, I have the bonnet that you have shown in pics, in Carbon Fibre. I had it shipped from California last year . Unavailable in the UK. Is yours fibre glass resin?

Nice car buddy. Welcome along. To remove the Gear Knob, hold the shaft lower down below the gaiter with a pair of mole grips, so as you don't mark the exposed shaft, then twist knob anti clockwise.
