  1. I'm 30, look younger, but feel much much older lol
  2. thats the layout for 2011 Lol I thought it was a bit early, they usually only release it a week before, oops explains why the ultimate car collection stand isn't on there which is what I was looking for lol
  3. I have my UK one in the for sale section (back box and mid pipe)
  4. Non-specific show layout for this year http://www.japfest.co.uk/2011/05/09/che ... ub-layout/
  5. It's fine, no heat soak issues, still have my old HKS kit, but I prefer the look of this one
  6. As the weather is finally improving (occasionally anyway), we thought it was about time that the goodies Mike got me for Xmas should be fitted lol Firstly, to go with my Nismo oil cap, came the Nismo rad cap :thumbup1: Excuse the photo it was taken on my crappy HTC!! Samco Coolant Hoses And then fitted It was also about time she had a proper detail inside and out, so seeing as I was fiddling with the engine bay anyway it seemed like the best place to start. After 3.5 hours with a toothbrush (no I'm not joking lol), Autoglym Tar and Glue Remover, Meguiars Engine Clean, Chemical Guys VRP (for the rubber and plastics) and Meguiars Engine Dressing, I managed to get most of the manufacturer's wax off of 1/4 of the bay, so instead of a washed out black/blue, it is now a nice shiny black - really hard going but amazing improvement, I have an after pic, but not a before one but hopefully will get the rest done tomorrow and will take a pic of the other side before I start Now all I need to do is finish the bay, detail my wheels, the paint and the interior and then she'll be ready for shows again
  7. My new bolts are on their way, although I did nearly keel over when I was given the price lol
  8. My mum drives like that in an auto, I can't even get in the seat and I'm only an inch taller lol its so upright it actually tilts forward! I hate to think the damage it would do
  9. I have a brushed aluminium Nismo knob, if feels nice but it does get cold in the winter so I put a sock on it
  10. There seems to be an earth strap (short one) by the exhaust's back box (at least it seems to act like one). I was always getting shocked but when we changed the exhaust and cleaned the strap - no more shocks (either that or big coincidence)
  11. As for the comment that if you don't use the zed's performance then you'd be better off with a Primera - erm why? My zed is my pride and joy and I put a lot of time and money into her. Just because I don't floor it wherever I go and would prefer to cruise in my GT does that mean I'm not entitled to own one? Perhaps that means the Supra should go too? I would prefer people to think "wow...nice car, obviously much loved" than "****" as I thought the other night when I saw a zed chasing another car on the motorway at (i would say) over 90mph. I just call me Daisy (we need a Driving Miss Daisy smilie lol)
  12. Fantastic show last year - I'll be there with Outlaws again
  13. Casper used to do it anywhere he sat, even the kitchen worktop lol, he did it all his life Timmy only does it when he sitting on a cushion or his bed when on my lap or on my stomach or chest when I'm in bed, he's 9 now and shows no sign of stopping, he'll do it for ages as if he's trying to make himself comfy and after about 20 mins half the time he'll wander off and go lay down straight away with no padding at all, I think he's trying to build my stomach muscles as I have to tense when he does it or it hurts - he's heavy lol
  14. I waited 20 mins for fuel last night and that was at 11pm, I was pretty much on red so needed to, garage was packed, v-power now at 148.9 (was 143.9 at the weekend), bike has fuel, poor pug is pretty much empty of diesel, supra going nowhere til May anyway lol My other half went to fill up last night and they were doing cash only - luckily he had £15 on him which pretty much filled the bike as there was no cash machine at the garage All people are doing by panic buying is proving they can afford the fuel if they can go out and fill up at the 'drop of a hat', so prices will never go down (not like its going to anyway). I just hope that if its not going to happen and everyone's already got fuel the garages will be sitting with no customers and full of fuel so may drop their prices to encourage people to come in
  15. Any chance you can get these in stainless steel? (failing that do you have a list of sizes?)
  16. My boyfriend's cbt ran out about 12 years ago and hadn't ridden a bike since. In October last year he did his cbt then his bike licence (you do need to do theory test also) about a week later lol his mate who had no experience and done his cbt at the same time (who is also a bit nuts and accident prone lol) loves his 125 and is so much cheaper on fuel than the car. My other half on the other hand didn't want a little bike so bought a 750 mainly because he does a lot of motorway and needed more guts) and is now trying to persuade me to do mine lol We now have supra tt, 350z, pug 307 and Suzuki gixer 750 lol
  17. Its a Japspeed K1 (without the bungs) - I promise its much cleaner now though
  18. I've been meaning to do this for ages (exhaust has actually been off the car since August 2011. I'm selling the OEM back box and midpipe from my 2005 zed, when it was removed she had covered 56k. The exhaust is not blowing and is in typical condition for wear on a 6 year old exhaust with this mileage - it has no holes where they shouldn't be and is not blowing (I only changed it so I could go loud), please bear this in mind when considering as I obviously cannot guarantee how long the exhaust will last, although at present it is fine. The only issue with it is that one of the bolts snapped and will need to be drilled out (and replaced obviously). You can't really see it from the pic but I have others (these don't have my username or the date on so I haven't posted them) if anyone is interested. This will be collection only from Surrey (its in my boyfriend's shed). Offers welcome as I need the space for more goodies
  19. Unfortunately not but at least she actually looked like I used her for a change, rather than being a shiny ornament like she usually is lol
  20. I think this is the dirtiest she's been, this was coming back from a detailing seminar at meguiars, weather was really bad and driving down country roads for a pub lunch after didn't help, by the time we got home it looked like I'd been rallying, she was cleaned the next day though lol
  21. Lol I never noticed those, although it was an industrial estate on a very early sunday morning so I was safe lol
