  1. I got moaned at for "camping" so explained that in fact I had taken up a tactical position and if he knew I was there then he could've thrown a grenade in, instead letting me kill him everytime lol
  2. The black CT55 plate is mine, that must have been earlyish saturday morning as I put my show plate on after that lol I didn't take any pics but one of our members at Outlaws took this beauty of Busters - I saw it drive by us but went to look for it and couldn't find it lol
  3. It was for all those going up to JAE for the weekend, tunnel run from Essex to ace cafe then convoy to wicksteed park so was catered for those going to the show rather than everyone as is normal

    Dodgy Carbon?

Engine cover - £80 - £90 Cooling plate - £90 Were about what we paid Battery and brake fluid covers were £85 each - always out of stock I've not had a real problem with fitment (first engine cover was twisted but was exchanged straight away for a perfect one with no hassle), my issue is everywhere is always out of stock and am really wanting them lol
  5. I can't believe how much difference it has made, bay not quite finished yet, carbon battery and brakefluid covers, strut brace, coolant hoses, rad cap to match the oil one and a professional clean are next on the cards to finish it off. If the paint doesn't clean up to well (seems very flat compared to the rest of the car) then a possible engine respray is a possiblity

    Dodgy Carbon?

Don't forget the surrounds too. Definitely, they're impossible to get !
  7. Don't think I've had any bad comments, usually shick from men when they see a girl driving, although the annoying one is "does your boyfriend know you've nicked his car", which can be amusing in a petrol garage when he's filling the supra up next to me lol

    Dodgy Carbon?

Battery and brake fluid covers I find really hard to get hold of, everywhere is always out of stock
  9. Thanks for the comments The cover and plate aren't a particular make, they're from UV Worldwide, there have been both good and bad comments about the company but I had no issues at all, some carbon pieces are a poor fit and others are fine, the first engine cover received was slightly twisted but the swapped it straight away with no issues and this one was fine, but they always have limited stock so a phonecall to check they're in stock is always best, I would use them again

    My new car

Looks a really good example from the pics
  11. I do agree with the above reasons for not getting one, but we couldn't be without ours. We have a Pug as a shed (307 Turbo Diesel), mainly for my OH to get to work and the gym (and to come to mine) etc. as the Supra can't be left anywhere without idiots interfering with it and it also saves a lot of money in fuel (even though he is now planning on getting a bike as well!), the weekly shop also doesn't fit in the boot of the Zed or the Supra. The Zed is my only car but still only gets used once a week (I get trains to work), they are our toys and we want to keep mileage down, the Supra is a show car and eventually the Zed will be going the same way. I think it just depends on how much money it is going to save you at the end of the day, but I like poodling around in the Pug to then go out and blow the cobwebs away in the Zed, its a totally different drive and I don't think I'd have so much fun in it if I was driving it all the time.
  12. Since buying the Zed back in April this year, I've added a few extra goodies, I've been meaning to do a thread for a while but everytime I go to start one I buy something else, so now I'm laying low on modding to save up for coilovers etc. I thought now would be the best time to start. So when I brought her home in April she already had tinted windows, HKS induction kit and a Nismo brushed aluminium gear knob. Seeing as she has the Supra as her garage buddy, it was hardly going to stay like that for long so ... Mike bought me my first mod on ebay - Richbrook Tax Disc Holder As the Rays seem to be a little lost in the arches I bought 20mm hubcentric spacers from MW Tech Racing, to improve her stance ... With Japfest only a week away, we tried to smarten her up a bit for her first show. The silver panel in the rear strut brace (can't find a pic) was scuffed and scratched so, out came the Ford Purple Velvet paint The silver "Z" didn't look right, so that was sprayed black In June I had a BIG birthday so Mike treated me to some carbon goodies that I wanted Engine Cover and Cooling Plate Engine Cover fitted and Mike being Mike, he polished up the bolts too Cooling Plate now fitted too Now, I hadn't planned on getting these so soon but due to P15ULT doing a big part out for his 3rd major overhaul, I couldn't pass up the opportunity especially as they are not always easy to get hold of! Polished Coolant and Power Steering Tanks All fitted So into July and I wanted more grunt from the exhaust, as I'm impatient and wanted one there and then I decided to go for a cheaper option exhaust to see how I get on rather than buying a loud expensive one and it being a waste or a quiet one and it being too quiet so, I decided on the (very) loud Japspeed K1, now I know this exhaust isn't for everyone, it is loud and I'm not sure I could even live with it as a daily drive but seeing as I only use the car once a week its fine for me (at the moment!!) As always, the cat has to make sure all parts are in the box before we are allowed near it lol Bizzarely I have no pics or vids of it fitted Now one thing I had wanted to do since buying the car but not had a chance to was to get the plenum and throttle body polished, so off it came And a week later, it was back Now, with the engine bay coming along nicely I thought it was about time I got a nice oil cap, so I bought a Nismo one from EPRacing You will see in the above pic that the OEM airbox is back on and this was due to heat soak issues, as it now didn't "go" with the look of the engine bay, I bought a new AEM short ram induction kit The cooling plate was off in these pics but we have tested the induction kit with it on and there seems to be no more heat soak issues so its highly like that the HKS filter just needed changing (as it was fine without the cooling plate just didn't always get enough air to it when it was on). I'm getting a cold air feed to go behind the grill in the bumper to guide the air up to the duct into the engine bay to aid the flow and then the cooling plate can go back on  I will be doing a For Sale thread for the HKS Induction kit and back box and mid pipe for the OEM exhaust Well that's it for now but no doubt there'll be some little additions along the way before the big ones start lol :thumbup1:
  13. Show and shine is at set times for different makes this year so I don't think you can stay there, Nissan are in the afternoon Show n Shine timetable: 09:45 - Isuzu 10:30 - Toyota 11:30 - Mazda 12:30 - Subaru 13:30 - Honda 14:30 - Mitsubishi 15:30 - Nissan 16:30 - Suzuki 17:30 - Lexus 18:30 - Datsun
  14. It's based on posts, can't remember how many but it'll change when you've done a certain number
  15. Welcome, and its fine, we all know black is the fastest lol
  16. Welcome, there are hundreds in Surrey, although I've only ever seen 2 lol You may see me about in my black GT, I live in Kent but my other half lives about 10 mins from Kingston. He bought his supra from Bonsai Cars 5 years ago, are you picking her up from Southampton?
  17. And then they accuse you of tailgating them, even though they've cut you up When you overtake someone going really slowly and then they speed up when you're next to them!
  18. We did see guys with yellow bats whacking them lol Yep, black zed is mine, liquid yellow supra is Mike's. Definitely want to drag next time. Few of the guys killed their clutches and I think a gearbox went too, especially the FTO that spat it innerds all over the strip! Jamie had a few issues that day, think his best run was 10.1, although the young guy with the blue drag supra (can't remember his name) got into the 8s I think. A few people stalled when they'd had the glue sprayed in front as.the cars just bedded in, its soooo sticky lol
  19. There were a few different cars there including 3 zeds, they were quite open this year with others my other half asked if I could take her (he's got a supra) and they were fine
  20. We were there on the Saturday but went home about 4ish, some lovely cars there, saw you go down the strip a few times, although didn't realise you were a member on here or would've made an effort to come and say hi whilst avoiding the bloody wasps!
  21. None usually but my other half's supra is in Japanese Performance this month so had to buy that one lol I usually just flick through them in the shop lol
  22. With Sam's soop its going to be colourful this year lol
