  1. Sorry to hear this, I hit a cat many years ago and couldn't stop being sick after (it didn't die but all I could think of was that a kid might have been looking out a window and seen me hit it) you will forgive yourself its just difficult to get your head round at first, as others said, sounds like there is nothing else you could have done and at least you contacted the owners rather than leave the dog where it was
  2. That's a great price, my cat's insurance is only £10 cheaper thought that was a mistype but I guess you did mean your pussy cat. Unfortunately yes, I did mean cat, not car, now he's 9 he's high risk apparently!
  3. That's a great price, my cat's insurance is only £10 cheaper
  4. Welcome, I'm fussy with wheels but actually really like those lol
  5. I knew I'd seen a purple one somewhere http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/46997-some-final-pics-of-my-new-look-z/ A friend's custom purple supra she also has a bronze one as mentioned above
  6. You will probably find it still has the manufacturer's wax on the bay so it won't be shiny, mine was matte and looked almost blue there was so much wax; 7 hours with a toothbrush and tar and glue remover later, she was all sparkly, after that, cover the essentials, I then used meguiars engine cleaner and the engine detailing stuff after, just don't get it on Samco hoses as they can react, only use warm water on them, not definite that's what happened to mine but its a possibility. Use autosol and polisher/fine steel wool/microfibre if you want to brighten up the metal work. Its tough going but so worth it!!
  7. Congratulations, its going to be a long few days lol
  8. Have you tried Carpro IronX? I love he stuff, wash wheels, spray on, rub in with damp sponge, wash off (don't let it dry) and then clay them, clay gets rid of surface contaminants but not what causes them so IronX is best first, check that it is ok for your wheels though, can be used on paintwork too, once contaminants gone then polish and seal
  9. Just fitted the titanium one on my car. That's the one I have, does get cold but just put a woolly sock on it, the mechanics gave me a funny look when it went in for MOT lol
  10. Megs is probably the one I've used most as its easily accessible (i.e. from Halfords) whereas a lot are mailorder. I've tried Sonus, but hated it and actually threw the other bar away, never used the Bilt Hamber one before but I'll be putting an order in soon for other stuff so may try it (although she's having a respray, so the Supra or the Pug may get the test run!)
  11. Looks like we're all having makeovers this year, I'm off to the bodyshop on Saturday, for them to look at her and then get her booked in
  12. So sorry to hear this, i always worry when my babies go out, it's one good thing about having a three legged cat, he can't get over the high fences so stays in the back garden
  13. If you look at price (and not performance figures) 15 years ago Supra's were £60k (even NA's were about 50k)
  14. Lol my dad just bought me a McDonald's, although I did have to share it with the cat, he kept stealing my chips!
  15. I need to give Mike a nudge towards this thread lol
