  1. How about overalls, they'll last and have pockets for brushes/cloths, I've even thought about a pair of these especially when cleaning wheels and getting covered in brake dust lol http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Mechanics-Work-Overalls-Boiler-Suit-Coveralls-NEW-/320722404518?pt=UK_Men_s_Trousers&var=&hash=item4aac8b84a6

  4. Merry Christmas guys, I'll be in touch next year for the fitting of coilovers and alignment
  5. Make sure your windows are closed too, even with just the windscreen washers they can make a hell of a mess lol
  6. Welcome - although we're not all gentlemen lol
  7. It's still working but does need replacing, it mainly does shorter journeys (apart from when my boyfriend comes to mine as its a 100 mile round trip) so it doesn't get to burn off much, if you accelerate hard then the light comes on but once you've been going a while it goes off again, but for doing almost 150k miles on the original one she's doing well!
  8. DPF's are a nightmare in general, don't think its just VWs, our 307 has had the dpf light flash up for the last 18 months, it'll probably be removed but unfortunately this will make it fail the MOT as decats do. It's the only thing that puts me off getting another diesel as a run around.
  9. Nissan probably didn't remove the contaminants before applying the supaguard, so it's probably underneath which will mean the supaguard won't last as long as it should, I've used supaguard on the pug and it lasted ages with no problems so its probably poor technique than the product itself. I have a feeling claying over the top will remove the supaguard (although i'm no expert) but just put on a decent wax after and it'll be fine, there are reasonably priced waxes that do a very good job.
  10. See we have our own theme tune lol
  11. The seats are joked about a being the national express coach seats but when she was silver we never really noticed them, it was only after she had an overhaul that they stood out, the seats would be covered rather than changed because they're really comfy. Mike's considered selling it but there is nothing around that gives him the buzz the supra does, especially when that second turbo kicks in. He sometimes wishes he'd left it standard, but I'm not a fan of them that way and prefer her the way she is, although I will be the first to admit there are some awful ones out there lol. I love our bumblebee
  12. I bet he keeps you warm in the winter lol
  13. I know, if they were just black it would be so much better, but the recaros are so comfy, I expect they'll get refurbed at some point when the bolsters are done, after 16 years they're holding really well though! The mats were grey too, although we had dyed them black, these are new custom ones, which look so much better, going to try and get some for the zed
  14. Yep got to love the cockpit, feels like it was built around you
