  1. Isn't the tyre sidewall rim protector sticking out far enough to stop that happening?
  2. Damn, is that a blowout on the rear tyre? What pressures were you running before you started the track day?
  3. Aren't those the evo-r reps? Though the invasion one seems to be identical
  4. Blitz replica by evo-r was held on with 3m tape iirc, don't see why blitz couldn't be.
  5. Personally i only like the blitz spoiler on the 350z w chargespeed
  6. Higher flowing will be raspier, apparently ceramic hfcs are less so but I've never heard any. It really depends on what the rest of your system is, some they add an entirely different sound to others.
  7. I thought it was simply because they didn't have the extra padding of the heatshields to slightly muffle that rasp? Either way, I didn't get on with it.
  8. There was some play in my steering rack and the clunk sound, not to mention some of the hoses had gone as well. Rack replaced with a pre owned from alex and it doesn't seem to have gone back Apparently it was the first time japex had seen it.
  9. It's still quite heavy, I see it as more of a gt car than the vette. Then again, i'm not sure you can accuse the 350z of being sporty either. It's a lovely looking and sounding car, but I think vettes have so much potential, are quite light and sound lovely.
  10. They're a lot more competent than the xkr, I also don't think 436 horses from a 6.2 is so bad. Roush is of course 420 upwards from the 4.6. You asked for a v8 no? I'd say the yanks have v8s nailed. If you had to have european, for me the csl is the only contender there, but servicing and maintenance may be a little more than budget. I'd take a vette over the 370z any day of the week.
  11. Nobody for a corvette c6 or roushed mustang?
  12. Have a look at bride hyperlow seats
  13. I'd no sooner have that on my car than drive through halfords and come out the other side covered in ripspeed.
  14. Doesn't look so pretty to me? Just looks like a normal z that has had minor tweaks
  15. Well I thought tarmac said he had issues with replicas and since he sells shine...?
  16. Urr, I take it you haven't seen the pictures of what has happened to some zeds run on 95 ron then? Sorry I haven't... I know this is a well discussed topic but I am not familiar I'm just a cynical sod that's all... I think in most instances (for most vehicles) it probably makes no difference - but it may very well do for the 350z? Where there's a product to sell there will always be potentially biased information directed towards selling that product..?!? Of course I am not suggesting that folk on here have anything to gain... I'm just talking in general. I primarily use the super stuff so I am not immune to my own cynicism..! viewtopic.php?f=17&t=58599&hilit=Unleaded+Damage

  18. Problem is, shell has vpower. I bet that's why I had issues with a card once though.
  19. Filled up at acorn and got nervous eh doc?
  20. I thought the shine kits were supposed to be pretty good quality for reps?
  21. I dunno, with a polished rim if it's anodized like volks, you don't want to ruin that, personally I'd just say shampoo of your choice (dodo juice or something similar) and a wash mitt of some variety. I'd only use wheel cleaners if I knew for sure there was no protection for the polished lip. That then give them a layer of gtechniq wheel armour, or whatever the latest flavour is on detailingworld, failing that just some wax. No offence zugara, but I don't see the point of wheel cleansers, if you let them get that dirty that they need wheel cleaners, they're already wrecked imo.
  22. Didn't say which blue, so azure, but with ultra yellow next. There was a stunning ultra yellow with chargespeed rear, blitz spoiler, forget which sides and bumper, but it just looked like a fast ny taxi = win
