  1. Aftersales is about making good @*!# situations, imo quite a few companies are good at that.
  2. Not a single one? Really? Anyway, i'm gonna see what admiral quote me this time round.
  3. Amendments they were good at too(mods) and noddy stuff like chipped windscreen. But tbh, it is quite possible their claims service isn't good, however, i'd be more worried if they couldn't even get the policy right in the first place. That doesn't inspire me with confidence. I'm really not sure who is good for claims, you won't know until you have to make one.
  4. Personally I found their call centres pretty good and I never had any issues with at least getting a correct policy, some other companies have been hopeless. However, never had to claim so I can't say what they're like in terms of dealing with claims.
  5. Does seem a little odd, if it's looks you're after you buy something like amuse or hks, mostly all you see is tips anyway so that's what i'd base looks on.
  6. Last I heard, ian was buying some 18x7 rotas with an et of 50
  7. Crikey, I thought the progressivs were rarer than Hen's teeth. I'd have thought those are pretty much the new price, but concave ftw all round if you're going with them. Personally I prefer the looks of other wheels by rays and those are a bit narrow, with slightly higher offsets than i'd want, but you should only buy what you think looks good.
  8. Alcons would probably be more than that.
  9. Ahhh, but the wheels weigh no more than the standard 18s, tyres though is a different matter
  10. If you're not flush, why not just get it repaired? Imho worth saving for a proper exhaust.
  11. Hey, mine doesn't creak, just there's noise which almost sounds like a shot wheel bearing, but doesn't get worse with speed
  12. You'd have to have wheels bigger than your coasters then
  13. Wooden clogs for you no? Must say, never thought i'd see you drool over a bbk
  14. Those are wayyyy too stylish for you dave
  15. The size of the rotoras probably does make a difference on those massive wheels, but I thought most people just bought bbks for looks tbh. Alcon/pfc do make better bbks than stoptech/ap racing. You could argue the same about custom wheels from someone like dpe.
  16. But it was the RE's clearly to blame like everyone else says Sounds like to me there wasn't much you could do and you just got very unlucky.
  17. Evo-r (jay) has a bit of a shocking rep iirc.
  18. I like the blitz spoiler personally and wanted one if/when I get a kit.
  19. I didn't find them particularly bad? Budget no named are seriously much worse. Re40's would grip pulling away whilst you were sensible, budgets simply would not stop in wet conditions. Budget no named tyres are bad in the dry. If you drive like a mong everywhere, sure, they don't perform like falken fk452's or vreds in the wet, if you drive to their abilities, they're perfectly sensible tyres.
  20. Bollocks, they're great in the dry (lots of feedback and good progression) and okayish in the wet. They get much better with some heat in them too. Nankangs are at least named budget tyres, yet, I managed to not have any accidents on no named budget tyres with 3mm at the rear and falken ze912's at the front with 2mm.
  21. Maybe you are, you can't handle the z The TC interferes a little late, then again, I don't think the zed is exactly like a tvr to drive, it's pretty damn predictable.
  22. Maybe not rotora then http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/?man ... ers_id=141
  23. I think they're the only jdm company to manufacture bbks? Seems most people have them for that reason alone. Endless also do a BBK, makes these look like pocket change though And hks, greddy, oops But it is the name as ian said
