It is a bit silly spending that on wheels for a zed imho. Still, there are some hot z's/g35's/370z's with them on. The only thing is, at that sort of price, the wheels are fully custom, so you can get whatever offsets and finish you like. Depends on how much love you have for your z/car

I don't really like HRE's at all, just do nothing for me, the finish doesn't look that great and they just look like normal porsche wheels or cheapish rotiforms to me. DPE on the other hand, bling bling and completely and utterly impractical for UK roads but again, like the HRE's pretty damn expensive (probably more than those HRE'S). Polished lips are a pain to look after, but I still love my volks. I also question that, it looks almost identical to advan rs (which was also before the sls's time). Wonder how heavy the forgestars are.... The advans are very light indeed and I was considering them before the volks, but they're a pain to get hold of and not exactly cheap either, probably about double the price of the forgestar equivalents.

Forgestar ones in first post are I think advan rs copies? Again, very nice wheels.

I found just changing the exhaust so you can't hear it anymore fixed the issue Anyhew, if you figure out how to fix the irritating dash rattle, for me around the security light, i'd be interested

Feel the paint with the back of your hand, if it feels rough, it needs claying and it does make a lot of difference.

Dunno why you think why you "need" this all, surely it depends on what you feel the zed is lacking? As doc has said, I think it handles and stops pretty well out of the box, though proper pads do make a fair bit of difference. I didn't get on with the berk hfcs on the nismo, but i'm sure they sound better on the oem exhaust. I'm tempted by stiffer arb's, but I think that would probably just ruin the suspension if it was all on its own and since mine isn't a track car I don't see the point of the rest.

Depends on the wheels imho. I got those because they add a bit of colour which imho looks nice in the dish of the wheels. They also aren't too different from azure but that wouldn't put me off. I like the orange brembo calipers personally too. Couldn't say they match The only ever matching set of wheels i've liked are volks in mag blue. Those look pretty good on the darker blue zed. Besides dave, I thought you were all for go and not show?

So they're comparing one of the slower vettes vs the GTR? I just think the GTR is far too clinical, lacks the soul of the bigger vettes. That and the amount of power vettes can make, I'd still take a vette. I also like the way some vettes look:

Same with nikons aside from the much older ones no? D50 is quite old now. Seems there's a d90, so I don't really have a clue then why I can't see myself ever needing anything like the d3x or eos 1d mk4.
