  1. congrats ive just one the same thing all i can say is you a brave man letting her choose her own ring
  2. i bought a car at the auctions the other week. every tom dick and harry was there makeing the trade price go out the window. yes your get a cheap car if you intend to buy it for yourself. ive had the same thoughts as you may of times but as you know, you buy what you see and somtimes its a lemon. i must admit the auctions are better now as if you ask they will give a list of the cars going through with a guide price on its value giving you the heads up rather than just the traders with there glasses guide. best of luck tho
  3. ive just asked my gf who works for an Asbestos removel company and she said it would cost around £135. but they wounldnt travel, but for a rough price i thought id ask
  4. as said above. its only dangerous when broken, so if poss take it apart at the flue joints, and keep it damp. just wear the right PPE, and dispose of it properly. if your realy worried get a check done to see what type it is. if its low risk do it. if its high risk pay them to do it.
  5. and its back sorry if i jumped the gun on this one
  6. brill thanks for that. didnt like the thought of doing it agian
  7. hey mods do you know where is gone? thanks
  8. I dont think the price sounds too bad, do you know the size (Kw rateing) and make of boiler they intend to fit? there are so many different makes and models out there, that you prob could reduce the quote by a fair bit. i only recomend two boilers when doing an install as i have never had any problems with them in the past. remember buy cheap buy twice. i would also say if the boilers 16yrs old they may have to up size the gas pipe feeding the boiler and any other appliences in the house, as well as changing TRV's ect. i wouldnt worry too much about the condence too much as its been said before there a pumps to help get rid of that.
