  1. If I was installing Brembo brakes on my Touring and want to replace the dust shields (I like doing things right all the way) I take this would be the ideal time to install the replacement CV Joints given the dust sheilds have to be removed during this process?
  2. No one had done a DIY? The two I was looking at were these if it they spark any menories http://www.ruderacing.co.uk/Workshop_&_ ... _info.html http://www.thescratchdoctor.co.uk/alloy ... -7241.html Bit of a price difference so any feedback welcome. Any traders with a quality product I'm happy to hear from you to if your willing to ship to the convict county.
  3. after googling a number of the better looking alloy wheel repair kits (DIY) are from UK retailers. Anyone used one and can recommend it? After something fo 4 wheels.
  4. or :pmr35lee: Finally! I get to use em!
  5. Correct. Read more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Velocity_stack
  6. I did a double take on this as well. I still can't see it though
  7. Argh I searched and didn't see this. Thanks. Read this http://my350z.com/forum/8916883-post84.html which gives an example of the required rear bolts. Anyway to tell if the ones in my pic above ^^ are correct or not? Seems like I can just re-use everything else on the car which is great to know.
  8. Alex, Thanks for the reply but I'm completely lost in your reply Pics say 1000 words so this is what I have... Rear calipers with pads in them and the brake lines... http://img687.imageshack.us/i/img1191x.jpg/ The hardware bits and pieces... you can see 7 washers (I'd assume i need 8) and 3 nuts (assume I need 4). http://img695.imageshack.us/i/img1194nu.jpg/ Do I have the pad retaining kit, shims and Brembo caliper retaining bolts? Any way of not needing to drill out the caliper carrier? Any missing for plug n' play install? PS: Haven't included pics of the rotors and front calipers (which have pads in them). Also want to do it right so will need the dust shields as well.
  9. I've recently bought a set of Brembo brakes for my non-Brembo delivered Z. Included was all calipers, rotors, pads and lines. Additionally there was a number of bolts, washers etc as well. I've googled and searched a number of the Z related sites I'm on without success to try and find a list of the hardware required to complete the upgrade. I've counted a odd number of washers and nuts so I'm assuming I'm missing one or two pieces. Anyone have any idea of what can re-used and what is necessary and required for installation? Cheers
  10. Pilot Super Sport are the replacement for the PS2s. I'm waiting for a review comparing the new Bridgestone S-04 before pulling the trigger.
  11. I was playing around with the Bose settings last night and noted that when I put the sound to rear left I heard nothing at all. All other speakers were fine except for the rear right which appeared to be a little weaker than the fronts. However from searching I understand that the rear speakers are 32ohm and front 4ohm so I should expect them to be a little quieter. From the threads I've read the issue could be the speaker coil (speaker replacement) or potentially the harness within the HU itself which I read a great DIY on here last night. Which would be the easiest one to test out first? Are there any other issues I haven't found via search? I'll be taking it to my audio shop but I'd tell them about common problems to hopefully save them some time and me some labout cost
  12. Got a link or anything please mate? I wanted it for show but it's gotta have some use too, otherwise it's like a doughnut with no jam in when you bit it!!! S2000 antenna. Little bit big at the bottom but hardly noticable. Reception quality is not different between OEM Nissan and this one I've found. Pic whore opportunity too
  13. Thanks Thank you Thanks. No CGI just a flash behind the wheel.
  14. What bolts are included in this kit? ie: which ones are included that you replace?

As Colin says, TPMS is for the US market, not sure if anywhere else gets it. In the US I think they may be mandatory now which is why they get them as standard. Has anyone added the stock TPMS system to their car? If so what is required?
  16. To try and appreciate the scale of Yasi... here it is super-imposed onto the top of the UK..... and most of Europe.... Reports coming in that towns have been completely devastated and some written off the map
  17. You won the Ashes what more do you want??!! As for culture you sent all your criminals to colonise... That cyclone is pretty scary. I'm watching te news now and it's about to hit land at high tide. Swells up to 12m and 300kmh gusts. Not fair for the Queenslanders - they're still recovering from the floods. Have them in your thoughts/prayers today.
  18. Don't forget a rev-up airbox then. Every 0.1whp helps.
  19. Most aftermarket headunits will work with the PAC SWI device.
  20. Those seats are very pretty (from the link)...
  21. 75% of Queensland has been declared an area of natural disaster. A week ago the flooded area was equal to the size of France and Germany combined and the floods have only gotten bigger since.
  22. These ones I think do as the writing is on the button and not the steel. Added these to my 03 and they illuminate (after tapping into the right wire).
