What did you use to get them apart bud? A heat gun? I'll be sealing mine up with clear silicone sealant. NO HEAT.... Tried that and they blew up like a balloon... I managed to get them apart with a tiny circular saw, about the size of a 5pence coin, and finished the cut with a new stanley blade. Doogyrev and I have just completed this mod on both our cars, Doogyrev has put clear reflectors on and using them as DTRL. Whereas i have as you know linked them to may indicators. DTRL on Doogyrevs look the dogs nuts...

Interesting conversion. How do you plan to "seal" the hole that has been created? I am looking at doing the same, and have managed to open up the reflector completely. Took some trial and error, but eventually they parted company. I will be linking the indicators to the "new" indicator/reflector.

I was informed that metallic paint respray will never be a perfect match due to the clear coat. Clear coat has a yellowish tarnish when the car is actually out on the road and the UV rays do their thing. Easiest way too see a re-spray, is too look at a car under a street lamp at night. Can you not get a company like chips away to have a look and see what they can do? What metal do you have on your bumper???

Fit an oil catch can if your zed is using oil. Not so sure a different oil will stop oil usage.

Contact watchdog with your story... Although they did this on Mc Donalds parking fines( no return within 2 hours) and a lawyer actually said that these fines are NOT enforcable by Law.
