  1. Hate to disagree with you too! But yes its relevant, what's to stop one from having their car dragged out onto the public road and claiming it was a hit and run?
  2. Wedding pictures, followed by a detail on the wife's car?? It's already started mate! Good job man
  3. I bought this one last week, http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-8152.aspx Great little unit, I think its got a higher bar than the halfords one, and it comes with a 12 month warranty. I had one before and it broke, but my thoughts on the matter were that it does the job, and after a year if it breaks then at 48 quid I'll just buy another one

    Brakes for track..

I will be in the same position as you shortly, my plan is to stick with the standard Brembo's for now, get the Performance Friction rotors, Ferrodo DS2500 pads, Goodridge lines, Improved brake fluid, and titanium shims which get a lot of stick from armchair scientists but if you check a few racing forums you will see that the proof is in the pudding and in practice the shims work well The above set up is considerably cheaper than going BBK, and should fulfil my need's. Don't take for granted that you have Brembo's, their still amazing brakes! The above mentioned gear i'll be getting from Alex, as I've been to his place and seen the quality of the products, top notch
  5. Brilliant pic's irfan, looked like a great wedding! Wife looks beautiful as well mate, well done
  6. Does make sense with regards insurance claims etc
  7. +1 - fairly expensive for Halfords, but very well made, and the pro range comes with a lifetime guarentee IIRC. Had mine for a few years now and its been 100% reliable. Remember these things are an investment and last for years if looked after right +2 I know many mechanics who use the Halfords Pro range as a cheaper alternative to Snap-On and sing their praises.
  8. I'm also needing to purchase one as well. I've seen a few relatively cheap ones on machine mart and screw fix, but I'm a bit sceptical of them.
  9. I'll give this a shot, cheers mate
  10. Oh i thought you had actually bought them and fitted them! Didn't realise you were window licking Have you checked if Willwood do a decent kit for 350z? I had a set on my last car and they were superb. I would't go as far as saying they were 'budget' but they were certainly cheaper!
  11. Thanks for that Husky ..... mine's just started to click at 71,000 miles and at the moment it's a single click so not too bad ....... I shall get the CVs repacked at a service later this month My clicking is quite horrible sounding, but I'm saving up to get the replacement's from Alex I believe. May as well do them right eh.
  12. Blah blah blah, so how much?
  13. Yummy! how much ?!?
  14. djtimo, really loving your car mate. I had given up hope on GM's styling until I seen yours
  15. Must admit, even though I know greasing and replacing the CV makes the noise go away. I did wonder as well....what causes the clicking?
  16. Nice one, sounds like fun I was also considering a Tuscan before the Zed, but it just had too many problems that 'could' go wrong with it, I was terrified of getting a car and having to get a loan just to run it! The zed is definitely planted and one of the reasons I love it so much. I think if we were to move to another car that was a bit skittish, we would be terrified due to being spoilt by the safe feeling of the zed.
  17. Well apart from the 50hp it adds.. ....I just kinda like it I love big wings on cars used for racing. Not street cars though! What type is yours?
  18. Love black on black!
  19. Poor guy, we would be all over it like flies. I wouldn't even know what to look for though.....suppose I could be the bosse checker
  20. Clocks are weird as freak when your a kid. I still remember my gran teaching me to tell the time on her old clock and I could never get it.
  21. So did she actually get the car in the end? but she just cant drive it?...bit pointless eh! what's it doing then?
  22. I'd ruin them. Give the story to every other car magazine, send it to the major car shows, newspapers, name and shame the editors by real name and dare them to take me to court or try to silence me. If even a few hundred people stopped buying their magazine because of it, then it would be a dent in their pockets they would feel, and I'm sure somebody would get an ass kicking.
  23. That's a footballers livelihood though, they have no choice but to get back to the game. And by twinge, I mean you feel the same pain you do when you first tore it, not just a tickle. Sure you can have the attitude of 'it's not going to stop me', but when you have a manual job 5 days a week to pay your mortgage and your self employed, then playing with fire by going back to football after such a massive operation could put you off work for another several weeks, no driving, and no paying bills. I hope you recover 100% but with respect to your reply, it doesn't feel like your taking this serious. My boss had the same operation and went back to playing again and now in his early 40's he can hardly walk. And in all fairness, the level of attention footballers get during recovery will be a lot different from yourself. All the best tho!
