  1. Haha! There will be a lot of happy people when he gets his first win
  2. A little bit off topic, but just stumbled across this video. Involves a rally car a few years ago. No injuries or anything. :scare: What a save! That's some fantastic car control / luck there!
  3. Haha that's mint. I like the idea of the land sea air burger, as tenuous as grouping the chicken as "air" is They should have called it the SEAL though
  4. I know that the TT is a very dangerous circuit, and every year there are fatalities, also there are at least a couple of riders from the public who get killed every year and only gets local coverage. I now think that the big bikes have now got to quick for the TT.Circuit. I did many years ago a Class 4 Superkart race on a street circuit, I thought I was going to die every lap...! Very valid point will, maybe they are at the point where they need to cap the bhp ? I know there have been advances in the active suspension, traction control and abs but there must be limits y Makes you wonder if it would make any difference though. I'd imagine most fatalities occur at "lower" speeds due to cornering, so would a bhp cap help prevent more casualties? Didn't Moto GP try a similar thing a few years ago with the 800's? A year later they were nearly as powerful again, but could corner even quicker! I suppose it depends on how the riders feel. If they feel they have to race the big bikes to remain competitive during the week then perhaps change could be good. If they absolutely love the big bikes, then let them be as it's a personal choice. As awful as the casualties are, I think it's a good thing that the event hasn't been interfered with in a negative way due to H+S. As mind blowing to me the speeds are, I bet the fastest riders would be very upset if you tried to take some of their bhp away!
  5. Believe there's been another bad accident today, hope all are OK. Guy Martin retired with bike problems. Are you there at the minute, or are they photos off a web site? If you are there, how do those 675s sound in the flesh? They sound great on TV They are good photos!
  6. Have to say I'm loving the motor sport coverage on ITV4 this year - BTCC, TT, Moto GP I imagine they probably have BSB too but I seemed to have missed it so far this year!
  7. Need to go watch it in the flesh one year. Anstey's lap record on the 1000 was committed!
  8. Absolutely love the GTs, on my lotto win list! Didn't know they could sound so good! Just can't decide what I'd have - White with blue stripes, or red with white stripes...
  9. After reading this thread, just ordered some blades from carparts4less for my parent's car for a good price
  10. Up Down Left Right A+Start Can't believe I remember that after 15-20 years!
  11. Hey man, I could use some of these for a Nismo spoiler, PM sent!
  12. The Zed sounds great in the S3 vid The S3s are 4wd yeah? I was expecting him to get off the line a little quicker compared to you initially! Although I suppose in the dry it makes the advantage smaller?
  13. Does the trainer stuff work? I love clean trainers! I don't know how I have got so far into my life without knowing this stuff exists! What an age we live in
  14. Sounds great, good write-up too I'm realise i'm a little late...
  15. Finally!!! That was emotional It took a lot of WD, force and swearing but we finally got them! Once they cracked off they come out easily by hand, new ones were on in 5 minutes. I made sure the new ones aren't torqued up to infinity NM Edit - oh by the way, no garage / professionals required haha
  16. Now I've calmed down, I think I may look at getting that done. Oh the shame of getting a garage to change some boot struts for me!
  17. Now I've calmed down, I think I may look at getting that done. Oh the shame of getting a garage to change some boot struts for me!
  18. Nothing worked Any more force and they will probably round off.
  19. What's wrong with car headlights, you get to take the light around with you wherever you need it!
  20. Thanks for all the replies, will give them a try on my next day off
  21. Oh, I've also tried undoing them whilst under no load, full weight of the boot, and in between!
  22. And just as the "Group Buy" thread wraps up... Had a go at loosening the top mounts of the struts (the alleged 12mm). It seems that an 11mm spanner is too small and a 12mm spanner is too big!! Can't find an imperial spanner that would fit, although as its jap I imagine it would all be metric anyway. If I try using the 12mm I'm confident I will just round it off. And I'd rather not cut apart the old strut if I can help it. I've removed the blanks next to both of them and applied WD40, with no success. So, any ideas? Easy straight-forward job eh?! If not I will have to resort to the adjustable (shudder!) Cheers!
  23. Went to Tesco as I fancied trying Family Guy Back To The Multiverse. They didn't have it so purchased Max Payne 3 instead. Proper good! Anyone played that Family Guy game? What's it like?
