  1. Hi all, does anyone have a Driver's side Switch surround for sale? Preferably 2nd hand (in good condition) or new would do. Thanks!
  2. Looks better than the new Lambo imo! But then again I think the Lambo looks like the new bat-mobile (and not in a good way)

    Alfa 8C

Gorgeous car...apart from the front! Looks like a wall-eyed frog.
  4. R.I.P My thoughts and condolences are with the friends and family of all those involved in this tragic accident.
  5. I like those rims....a lot! And the fish tank but that's a topic for another day.
  6. Liking the wheel centres - very nice! As for the usb stand....
  7. Big Congrats to you and your family!
  8. Not for me to be honest. But each to their own etc etc....If you like it do it!
  9. Having studied Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Capoeira and BJJ over the years (please don't assume I'm anything other than crap at these martial arts btw...) I'm in agreement with pretty much everything you said here. Although, I do think for self defence alone Wrestling and BJJ are perhaps just as limited as Wing Chun in a real life street fight - perhaps even more so. In a "street fight" on the ground is the very last place you want to be (unless your attacker is alone perhaps). You are so vulnerable to attacks from the other guys mates, girlfriend etc etc who could so easily smash a chair or bottle over head while you're choking him out in a triangle hold. And you wouldn't even see it coming... For me if I was interested in getting back into martial arts purely for self defence purpose's it would be Krav Maga & Muai Thai + BJJ. That being said, I've seen and heard some of the things my old Karate Sensei could do in a street fight and he was utterly lethal. Personally Wing Tsun is a bit too "flowery" for me as a martial art. At an expert level I am sure in a street fight you would be able to defend yourself with ease.
  10. It's a TLA and before you ask TLA = Three Letter Abbreviation soooooooooooo ........... LSD = Limited Slip Differential http://www.nismo.co.jp/en/products/comp ... index.html http://www.350zmotoring.com/forums/modi ... nismo.html I have installed the NISMO LSD and love it. I actually have it mated with 350EVO.com's 3.9 final drive ring and pinion set. OMG is it one of the best $ values for performance out there! The torque is awesome coming out of corners! I do a lot of track days and I have noticed a great improvement with the NISMO LSD. I tend to get more of a four wheel drift effect now. I am running 285's in the rear and 265's in the front. I have just all but eliminated the under steer with the wider tires and now she really hooks up coming out of the turns. However, with any love relationship, there is a bit of pain - the clutch type LSD - it chatters and pops at low speeds like when leaving a parking space, when you turn sharply usually under 15 - 20 mph. Other than that its a wonderful set up definitely worth the investment IF you track your car a lot!
  11. That's what happened with mine (Nismo LSD)!
  12. Dude, I'd take the set off your hands I'll be needing to change my tyres soon. Please PM me if they're still available
  13. Hey Rikki, welcome to the forum. I remember driving past you about 2 weeks ago on the A40 into London! Not sure, if it was the blue door or the massive speakers (I think) hanging out the back-end that stuck in my mind the most
  14. Hahah, you nutter! I don't think anyone can beat that story.. I wanted one for almost a year and checked ebay/Autotrader/Pistonheads almost daily (even though at the beginning I couldn't even afford it...) Then in Feb saw the car I wanted, low mileage, excellent condition, great price - so I drove 300miles to see it. Bought it the same day, left my old car parked outside their house and drove my new 350z 300miles back home the same day! Only saw 1 car and bought it too.
  15. Thanks for all the info guys - much appreciated.
  16. Hey Guys, Over the next couple weeks I'll be looking to change and/or upgrade the following on my car (JDM 06): Tyres: Currently running the Brigestones R050 and will probably go for Falkens after reading all the positive reviews I've read. But I'm also tempted by some of the deals I've seen by a few of the traders here. But alot of them seem to have sold out or stopped trading them. Brake Discs - Front and Rear - As I'm not tracking the car so a massive upgrade from the OEM (none Brembo) set-up isn't really necessary. The EBC Ultimax seem pretty good or worst case scenario just the OEM would suffice. That said I'm keen on upgrading and installing the Brembo Caliper's etc onto the car - About how much would I be expecting to pay for a full 2nd hand set? Brake Pads - Front and Rear - Again any suggestions for someone who isn't looking for a massive upgrade in these components but would still like a quality product with out paying too much? Also, I'm going to replace the Aux. drive belt as it needs replacing was quoted £135 by Nissan which seems.... All in what would be a fair price for that. Any help on this is much appreciated. Additionally, any traders willing to give me a deal on the whole lot I'd be interested in hearing from you so please PM me. Cheers
  17. Hi all, just thought I'd formally introduce myself. I've been lurking on the site for a while (which has been very helpful btw). I've recently bought a 350Z and every moment has been an absolute pleasure (apart from the weekly stop at the petrol station!) Anyway enough of the jibba-jabba....here's the beast! As an added bonus, I was going over the some of the paper work I discovered that the Japanese owner installed a NISMO LSD!
  18. What do you guys think? Too good to be true or complete ringer?? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201005351862984/sort/priceasc/usedcars/price-to/12000/model/350_z/make/nissan/radius/1501/page/8/postcode/cv15fb?previous=/search/used/cars/nissan/350_z/postcode/cv15fb/radius/1501/price-to/12000/sort/priceasc/page/8&logcode=p
  19. Ok, so I contacted Adrian Flux, Sky & Chris Knott. Both Sky and Adrian Flux gave me quotes that were +£1000.... Chris Knott quoted me £630* UK Spec/ £680 Import (which is the cheapest quote I found for an import BY FAR!!). So it looks the Fairlady is back on my radar again which helps moneywise! It looks like Chris Knott's probably the one...all have to do is buy the damned thing now! Thanks for the tips fellas. *Still too high imo but looks like the best I can get.
  20. Yeah, the £650 quote from Bell.co.uk/Admiral did have my Mother as an additional driver (+£350 excess). Without her on it, it's closer to £750. I'll chase up on the independents (Chris Knotts, Keith Micheals etc) today and report back later.
