Thanks for the advice fellas. I'll have a look at the specialist insurers because so far the majors have been rubbish! In your opinion though, how much should I be expecting to pay for insurance (I know every case is different but just a guestimate would be helpful) I'd take the 650 and be happy at that for many people 650 is cheeeeeep!!!! I know, but at 28 with 8 NCB - I'd expect to get better....

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum (though I have been lurking for some time... ) Anyway, I've been planning to buy 350z but I can't seem to be able to find a decent quote anywhere. I'm 28, 8 NCB, 0 points on my license, live in north London - yet the cheapest quote I can find for a UK spec 350z is approx £650 and for an import it's pretty much £1000 (bell.co.uk)! Which seems ridiculously high to me. Am I being unrealistic here?
