    18" Wheels

    That top picture is great
  2. Looks amazing, did you get the ride height sorted?
  3. I know it only vaguely hits your list, I've spent about £70k on it, but it is RWD and is slightly faster than a stock early R35: https://www.driftworks.com/forum/threads/supercharged-370z-ultimate-for-sale.271032/ I've seen something I'd like so am open to discussion on the price
  4. Then came the decision to get someone who knew what they were doing to make it go faster and safer. So I approached Mark and the team at Abbey for the mechanicals and Terry Loxton for the restoration of the shell and started the strip of the donor 350Z. Leadfoot Racing have completed the cage and Abbey ahve completed the engine mounts and mock up, so soon it will be winging its way to Terrys for the shell work. I'll put some more pics up as it progresses.
  5. Over time I stuck on a S13 paddle clutch, Saab intercooler and manual boost control valve. Then after a few more runs, I decided to pull it apart and do the S13 based coilover conversion and stick on the S13 brakes. We also cut out loads of rot and got a GP body kit.
  6. So as per my Hello post yesterday, we bought a Nissan S12 back in 2009 after doing some drifting at Silverstone in a 370z during the Nissan days. The car started out having been badly painted and stickered up by the previous owner (the Xbox logos weren't me, honest). We regularly broke it but had lots of fun and crashed through the barriers, into oil drums and over the cones.

    Understeer

Did you go drifting in the end? I went to DWYB at Pod quite a few times and learn't a lot just messing about in the practise areas. It definitely improves day to day driving when you have something that's tail happy.

    18" Wheels

Cool, that's the one, I liked the stance and overall look but the wheels did look a bit small. Are you getting same sort of style but in 19"?
  9. I spoke to a few people about this and as I understand it, the 370Z ones require you to cut trim as well.
  10. Remflex gaskets are really good, they are thick enough to take out any slight warp of the flange and seal properly. I couldn't find the exact size I wanted so got some custom cut but Adrian at Torqen is getting the preCAT ones made in the same material.

    18" Wheels

I know it's abit late but I saw a 370z with 18" wheels at trax last weekend, I can't say I liked it but it didn't look bad. Did you get 18" wheels in the end?
  12. Did some of the 370s have a spare wheel, I thought they just came with the sealant and compressor?
  13. I'll second this, good tyres are the key if you like driving hard, definitely worth spending the extra on MPS4Ss and they wear well as well.
  14. Are you getting the stickers lacquered/clear coated over or just stuck on at the end?
  15. Make sure you bed them in properly.

    Handbrake

My 370Z handbrake is ok when adjusted but you do have to pull it up fairly hard.
  17. If you are using a cover make sure the car is immaculate before the cover goes on as nay movement will rub any dirt about on the paint. This is especially important outside where wind will move the cover about.
  18. Yup, this helps but I often still get a little patch of condensation at the bottom of the window still.

    MPS Question

Yup, I wholeheartedly agree with this, I went to MPSS from the standard fitment bridgestones and the difference was very notciable, I then went from MPSS to MPS4S and the step was also very noticable esepcailly when pushing on in the wet. It was almost like it wasn't wet.......almost
  20. I had my 09 370Z ultimate recalled and a new lock fitted under warranty as far as I know, it's been fine, I never actually had any problem thank fully.
  21. I used the Autoglym restoration kit and then put a UV sealer on that i bought from ebay. It worked fine.
  22. I don't think the 370Z even has a space saver, you get gas and gunk?
